Who would have thought Warrington, one of Super League's great entertainers, would be scoreless after 55 minutes?

Jordan Abdull goes for the two from 40 metres out but his effort is wide.

Warrington need to score and soon. Hull KR are enjoying this and are holding on as it stands.

    Warrington 0-12 Hull KR

Well, much like last night, this could be the end of an era and without much fanfare.

Warrington coach Steve Price is leaving the club at the end of the season and, with his side 12-0 down, he could be leaving sooner rather than later.

The Wire concede another penalty, this time just past halfway. Is this in kicking range?

I am speechless. That has put the cat amongst the pigeons.

You would think Stefan Ratchford would win that foot race but Mikey Lewis, through his desperation and desire to put some more points on the board, puts the ball down under the posts.

Tony Smith gives his Hull KR the licence to play what they see.

There won't be panic from Warrington but there will now be some voices in the heads of some of those players.

Hull KR extend their lead courtesy of Mikey Lewis' eighth try of the season and Warrington have got their work cut out, now.

It comes as Hull KR regain possession after Stefan Ratchford knocks on and Lewis, seeing space, kicks goalbound and races onto the ball and goes in under the posts. Genius stuff.

    Jordan Abdull adds the two.

Luis Johnson receives some treatment on the field to what looks to be a facial injury.

It comes from the back of one of Jack Hughes' boots in a Warrington break upfield.

He's bandaged up and cleared to play on.

    Warrington 0-6 Hull KR

Stefan Ratchford is halted in his efforts to race to the line to score Warrington's first try of the game.

Ben Crooks somehow ends up with the ball in a scramble for possession after Ratchford goes to ground.

    Great stuff.

    HT: Warrington 0-6 Hull KR

    Kyle Amor

I don't think Hull KR have been brilliant - they have just defended, defended and defended, and Jordan Abdull got a try and that's the difference.

For Warrington, it's been headscratching. They've made a number of errors but the good thing for them is they've been on the Hull KR line otherwise they might have conceded a few more points.

An extraordinary finish to the first half as Warrington throw the ball around and keep the ball alive a number of times in a late dash upfield.

George Williams weaves a path through towards trying to get them into the dressing rooms with points on the board but he goes to ground on the turnover right as the hooter is sounded.

Hull KR lead, but Warrington aren't out of this one yet.

    Warrington 0-6 Hull KR

Jordan Abdull dummies his way into running for the line after looking like he was going to go for a Hull KR drop-goal.

His follow-up kick ricochets off a Warrington body before the visitors win another set of six inside their 10.

He eventually does go for the drop-goal as he finds himself right in front of the sticks but he kicks his effort wide.

    Warrington 0-6 Hull KR

Jimmy Keinhorst claims a desperate cross-field kick on the turnover from Warrington and Hull KR are looking more comfortable now than they have at any point in this first half.

Jordan Abdull kicks upfield and pens the Wire back into their own half once again.

  13. SIN-BINpublished at 32 mins

    Warrington 0-6 Hull KR

Albert Vete is sent to the sin-binImage source, PA Media

Albert Vete is off to the bin and that's been coming, to be honest.

He's shown yellow after a robust high challenge on Gareth Widdop and Warrington are right in the driving seat to get back on track, deep in Hull KR's half of the field.

But the visitors win the ball back moments after the restart.

Hull KR can't keep making these mistakes. I believe that Warrington are the fitter side and that will tell.

But if Hull KR get the next try then it could be a different story.

    Warrington 0-6 Hull KR

A forward pass from Hull KR, right in the midst of another run upfield.

Time will tell whether some of these errors cost the visitors but as yet they're defending well when Warrington have the ball in hand.

    Warrington 0-6 Hull KR

Brad Takairangi is back on after his head injury assessment and his first bit of action after taking to the field is to knock on deep in Hull KR's half.

Warrington win a set of six in a dangerous area but they waste the chance to capitalise after Jake Mamo knocks on himself.

    Warrington 0-6 Hull KR

    Blimey!

Albert Vete puts in a running high arm on Toby King just as the Warrington man was going to ground.

There's a groan from the crowd, but referee Liam Moore waves away the hosts' protests.

Soon after though, Vete puts in another stern challenge, conceding 10 metres to the Wire.

    Warrington 0-6 Hull KR

Jack Hughes comes to the rescue after reclaiming a Hull KR grubber kick as the visitors keep Warrington pressed in their own half.

There's more urgency about the hosts after conceding Jordan Abdull's try.

    Warrington 0-6 Hull KR

Well, Toby King gets to within about a foot of the Hull KR try line before the turnover as Warrington get stuck in following the restart.

However, they cheaply concede a penalty soon after play continues, much to the joy of the traveling KR supporters.

    Warrington 0-6 Hull KR

12 months or so ago, Hull KR finished bottom of Super League and were only spared relegation because of Toronto Wolfpack being unable to finish the season.

Fast forward to today and they are right in the play-off mix.

What do Warrington have in response?
