Penny for the thoughts of Catalans boss Steve McNamara watching this, knowing his side will go up against tonight's winner - assuming Warrington beat Hull KR tomorrow night.

Is it game on, knowing his side have steamrollered through the season? Or are these two possible competitors who are proving tough to break down?

There's too much fatigue in a game of rugby league for teams not to score.

It's a big 5-10 minutes now for Wigan. You feel the crowd could turn. Now they're behind, if they don't get on to the scoreboard then the momentum could shift for Leeds massively.

Rhyse Martin adds the two with a peach of a kick.

What have Wigan got in response? Adrian Lam's staring down a play-off eliminator defeat in what could be his final game in charge of the Cherry and Whites.

You just knew the first points of the evening were going to come from a kick as neither team was challenging with ball in hand.

Wigan have been on top but it's Leeds who have struck first. It will be difficult for Wigan from here.

    Ash Handley

Blimey, someone's actually scored a try.

Leeds get off the mark against the run of play and it's not the most attractive of tries but Ash Handley scores his fifth try of the season as he runs in unopposed at the corner.

    Wigan 0-0 Leeds

John Bateman looks to offload into the path of Harry Smith as Wigan look for a stylish, flowing move to gain them their first try of the game.

But the pass is too hard and it's knocked on.

    Wigan 0-0 Leeds

Well, in the end, Leeds do indeed defend well as Jackson Hastings is left with no option but to kick across field on the fifth tackle in a desperate Wigan attempt to score.

However, the Australian kicks straight into the hands of Cameron Smith.

That's the closest either side have come to getting off the mark.

    Wigan 0-0 Leeds

Richie Myler knocks on as he spills a high kick from Wigan, much to the joy of the home support.

Wigan look to capitalise immediately before they're told to bring the ball back for another set of six.

Leeds have some defending to do here as they're pegged back virtually on their own tryline.

    Wigan 0-0 Leeds

Brad Dwyer gets to within inches of the Wigan tryline but he's successfully held up.

Moments later, the visitors knock the ball forward as they look to catch Wigan on the break.

There has to be a winner tonight, even if it's in golden point extra-time and playing until this time tomorrow.

Wigan get the second half under way.

I'd settle for one solitary drop-goal at this point.

The Wigan head coach, Adrian Lam, will be pleased in one aspect but they need to tidy up their kicking game.

They need to be better in the second half on those last-play finishes.

Richard Agar will be the happier of the two coaches that it's 0-0.

For all Leeds have had some good spells at times, they have spent most of the game in their own half. Wigan have had the majority of the position on the field.

He will have to readdress his troops, subtly change the game plan and try to find a way to be more potent in attack and try to get some points on the board because at some stage Wigan will click.

    And there goes the hooter!

A scoreless first half. Some brutal tackles. Some errors. Some individual moments of promise.

    No points, though.

Willie Isa is forced to do some defending for Wigan as they find themselves on the back foot as Leeds press.

They send a kick towards goal which Isa is forced to dive and collect amid a scramble from both sides.

We get going again for the final stages of this first half and Zak Hardaker is on the receiving end of a big tackle as he collects a high ball.
