That was a messy half of rugby, with neither side playing with much fluency.
But Dragons won't be too bothered. They've controlled possession and, although their pressure has not yielded any tries, two penalties from Jason Tovey and one from Tom Prydie have given them a relatively comfortable lead.
With the likes of prolific wing Tim Visser in their ranks, Edinburgh are a threat at any point in the game. But they have been blunted so far by a determined Dragons side.
The Scarlets will be happy at the moment, though.
A scrappy and tight first-half between the two title contenders with most of the action played between both 22m lines. Ospreys have dominated possession, but the Glasgow defence has held firm. Wing Nikola Matawalu has looked the most threatening player for the visitors and with a bit more composure could have claimed the first try of the match.
The Ospreys fly-half hooks his effort just wide with the last action of the half.

They needed a couple more points going into the break and cometh the hours, cometh the man... Tom Prydie slots it over nonchalantly.
Tom Prydie has taken over the kicking duties for this attempt from Edinburgh's 10-metre line, and the full-back makes no mistake to end the first half on a positive note for the hosts.

It's a really scrappy affair, but we know Edinburgh are capable of striking from anywhere.
Dragons just need to be clinical, their defensive structure is very good.
Their composure just needs to be a little bit better.
This is heavy, unrelenting pressure from Dragons as they pound Edinburgh's try line.
But the Gwent region are frustrated by their opponents' stoic defending.
Dragons do, however, have a penalty in front of the posts, which Jason Tovey slots over with ease to double their lead.
Glasgow's Stuart Hogg misses the chance to put his side back in front, hooking his effort wide of the left post.
Jonathan Spratt comes on for Jeff Hassler for the Ospreys who leaves the field with a suspected hamstring injury. That must be disappointing for Canada back Hassler who was playing for the first time since October 2014 after a knee injury.

That was a great line from Nic Cudd, but he just didn't have the support.
Dragons really need to get something from all the pressure they've been putting on Edinburgh.
Glasgow nearly score the first try. Wing Nikola Matawalu is first to Stuart Hogg's grubber kick but hacks the ball over the dead ball line with the try line at his mercy.
Dragons flanker Nic Cudd has the crowd on its feet as he bursts clear into Edinburgh's 22.
The covering Jack Cuthbert takes the ball into touch, giving Dragons a line-out just five metres out from the visitors' try line.
In what has been a disjointed match to date, Edinburgh number eight Cornell du Preez has sought to inject a little flamboyance into proceedings with a deft back-of-the-hand pass to winger Dougie Fife.
The move only amounted to a Dragons penalty, but du Preez's sleight of hand even drew admiring gasps from the partisan Rodney Parade crowd.
Dan Biggar returns to the field in place of Sam Davies - that's good news for the Ospreys.
Scrums are often a mess, and the set-piece has disrupted play at Rodney Parade so far.
Dragons had a scrum in a promising position on the Edinburgh 22 but, following a pile-up of bodies, the ball squirmed out to an Edinburgh player and the visitors were able to clear. Scrappy stuff.
Dan Evans takes over the kicking duties from the injured Dan Biggar and makes no mistake, slotting his effort over comfortably.
There's been a long delay at Rodney Parade as Dragons hooker T. Rhys Thomas appears to have dislocated his thumb.
The Welsh international is clearly made of tough stuff, playing on for a while - until he is eventually replaced by Hugh Gustafson.

We'll wait to see how Dan Biggar is assessed and whether he can come back, but he has a very able and confident replacement in Sam Davies.
