Bath concede another penalty at the breakdown and Cooper gives his side a decent attacking platform with a minute of the half left. Toulon win the line-out but spill the ball soon after and that's half-time in what has been a breathless 40 minutes.

  2. try

Try (Halai, missed con Gopperth)published at 15:56 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January 2016

    Wasps 25-22 Worcester

What a finish at the Ricoh Arena!

With less than two minutes left, Frank Halai crosses in the corner to surely sneak victory for Wasps, who at no point until now have led in this match.

But Jimmy Gopperth has missed the conversion - will that cost Wasps?...

  3. Penalty (Escande)published at 34 mins

    Toulon 6-6 Bath

Eric Escande is much more accurate with his latest effort and we're all square in Toulon. Cracking game this.

  4. Toulon 3-6 Bathpublished at 33 mins

Bath take the ball into contact and again they are penalised for not releasing. Quade Cooper has a chance to get deep into Bath's half but is a little conservative with the kick and Toulon are on the 22m.

The line-out is careless and Bath win a penalty. A bit of argy-bargy later it's reversed and the French side have a kickable penalty. Poor discipline.

    Toulon 3-6 Bath

Eric Escande makes a mess of the kick though and Bath hold onto their advantage.

Bath scythe through midfield through George Ford and Matt Banahan and they're to within Toulon's 22. The forwards go through several phases before they set up the drop goal which Ford slots through the posts.

Bath have a line-out 5m out, they win the ball and set up the maul. Toulon do their best to disrupt it and Bath's forwards start going through the phases but eventually they concede a penalty for not releasing. Missed opportunity for the visiting side.

  11. Toulon 3-3 Bathpublished at 23 mins

Toulon full-back James O'Connor, by the way, sporting one of the worst haircuts I have ever seen.

George Ford is continuing to persist with the kick to Toulon's left wing but Quade Cooper and Jame O'Connor are handling the tactic and clear their lines.

  14. Toulon 3-3 Bathpublished at 19 mins

Handbags in Toulon with both sets of players getting involved in some needless niggle. Fascinating contest.

We're into the final 20 minutes at the Ricoh Arena and Worcester have responded superbly to that Wasps try, retaking the lead and then extending their advantage to six points thanks to a couple more penalties from Andy Symons.

  16. Toulon 3-3 Bathpublished at 18 mins

Toulon are starting to show their quality and in particular Quade Cooper is purring. The Australian releases his compatriot on the wing but James O'Connor cannot keep hold of the ball.

Eric Escande makes no mistake with the boot and Toulon are level.

  18. Toulon 0-3 Bathpublished at 14 mins

Bath are penalised for offside and Toulon try and take a quick tap and go inside their opponent's 22. However, they're called back and will instead go for the posts.

Bath steal the line out, but they go through the phases and eventually concede a penalty for not releasing. Toulon have the chance to gain territory and kick for touch.

Bath are up for this big time and are forcing Toulon into early errors. George Ford has just sent a wonderful touch finder into Toulon's 22.
