Bath take the ball into contact and again they are penalised for not releasing. Quade Cooper has a chance to get deep into Bath's half but is a little conservative with the kick and Toulon are on the 22m.
The line-out is careless and Bath win a penalty. A bit of argy-bargy later it's reversed and the French side have a kickable penalty. Poor discipline.

Ah, Bath are wanting to run from inside their own half at every opportunity but Jonathan Joseph is penalised for not releasing after finding himself isolated and Eric Escande will go for the posts.

And it's game on again at the Ricoh! Guy Thompson crashes over behind the rolling, Jimmy Gopperth converts and we have a two-point game in our hands with 10 minutes to go.

Toulon full-back James O'Connor, by the way, sporting one of the worst haircuts I have ever seen.

Toulon are starting to show their quality and in particular Quade Cooper is purring. The Australian releases his compatriot on the wing but James O'Connor cannot keep hold of the ball.

Bath are penalised for offside and Toulon try and take a quick tap and go inside their opponent's 22. However, they're called back and will instead go for the posts.
Bath steal the line out, but they go through the phases and eventually concede a penalty for not releasing. Toulon have the chance to gain territory and kick for touch.
Bath are up for this big time and are forcing Toulon into early errors. George Ford has just sent a wonderful touch finder into Toulon's 22.
