  1. try

Try (Chisholm, con Evans)published at 14:28

    Harlequins 14-10 Northampton

The breathtaking encounter continues. Windy conditions are limiting the kicking options so both sides are producing some excellent running rugby.

Quins take the lead through their full-back Ross Chisholm who breaks through the Saints' defence and Nick Evans adds the extras.

  2. Penalty (Goode)published at 14:28

    Wasps 3-3 Newcastle

After going in front, Wasps are again penalised for offside in a kickable position.

Andy Goode, having missed his previous two penalties, makes no mistake with his third one to bring the scores level against his old club.

Attritional is how I'd describe this match.

The anthems have been sung, the Stade de France is close to full and France against Italy has kicked off.

The 2016 Six Nations is underway.

  4. Penalty (Gopperth)published at 14:25

    Wasps 3-0 Newcastle

Wasps nearly get over the tryline but winger Josh Bassett is held up in the corner by his opposite number Giovanbattista Venditti and the play is brought back for an earlier Falcons infringement.

Jimmy Gopperth takes note of the conditions and slots his penalty through the post for the first points of the day.

Just listening to the radio commentary from BBC Coventry & Warwickshire (which you can to via the Live Coverage tab at the top of this page), you can hear the wind blowing on the microphones. That kick can't have been easy.

  5. Missed penalty (Goode)published at 14:18

    Wasps 0-0 Newcastle

Newcastle fly-half Andy Goode is jeered by the home crowd for his second miss from the tee after Wasps are penalised for being offside.

The wind may again have had something to do with that... We might not get many scores here.

  6. try

Try (Day, con Myler)published at 14:16

    Harlequins 7-10 Northampton

We have a try of the season contender at The Stoop. Tom Wood takes the ball well under pressure and moves it out to Luther Burrell who sets off on an arching run down the wing. His offload finds Ken Pisi who puts in Christian Day for an easy try under the posts. Stephen Myler with the conversion and the madness continues in the Capital.

  7. Missed penalty (Goode)published at 14:13

    Wasps 0-0 Newcastle

Wasps have given away a couple of early penalties, the latest of which sees their former player Andy Goode take aim for the posts just outside the 22.

The veteran Newcastle player pulls it wide as we are still scoreless at the Ricoh Arena.

    The conditions are causing havoc.

  8. try

What a hectic start. Luther Burrell with the knock-on and Quins get good ball from their scrum. A period of nice passing results in a try for George Merrick and Nick Evans adds the conversion.

    It's all go here.

  9. Wasps 0-0 Newcastlepublished at 14:07

Endless kicking so far at the Ricoh Arena as both sides try to force the opposition into a mistake in the swirling winds.

Nothing much in action to shout about other than that, but Wasps have been forced into an early change as forward James Gaskell needs help to take him off the field. James Cannon has come on to replace him.

  10. Penalty (Myler)published at 14:07

    Harlequins 0-3 Northampton

It's been an explosive start at The Stoop and a bright one from the Saints. Tom Wood with a good drive over the line but the decision is referred upstairs and he is denied by the TMO.

His side retain possession and Stephen Myler slots an easy penalty through the posts to give them the lead.

  11. Kick-offpublished at 14:02

    Wasps 0-0 Newcastle

We are under way at the Ricoh Arena as Andy Goode makes a return to Wasps with his Newcastle side.

He helped Falcons beat Harlequins last week to take them off the bottom of the Premiership table.

But they face a side looking for a third successive league win - with Christian Wade hopeful of making an impact after three long months out.

  12. Kick-offpublished at 14:00

    Harlequins 0-0 Northampton

We're underway at The Stoop as Harlequins look to make amends for last week's away defeat at Newcastle and maintain their unbeaten home record in all competitions this season.

The Saints, despite having only recorded one victory in the last four rounds of Premiership rugby, are looking for a much needed win in the capital and their record of five wins from their last five encounters with Quins will give them hope.
