  1. try

Try (Dickson, con Myler)published at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Northampton 24-18 Worcester

Hard to work out who scored that one, but the try has been awarded to Lee Dickson for his fourth try in three games.

Stephen Myler's kick goes through the middle and Saints have a six-point lead.

  2. Northampton 17-18 Worcesterpublished at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

And they're at it again. Stephen Myler kicks to touch from a penalty and they secure the ball from their line-out.

Saints need some points here and we've gone upstairs to the TMO.

Did Lee Dickson ground the ball?

  3. So far today...published at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

Missed some of today's action already? Not to worry, catch up on the afternoon's opening game here.

  4. Penalty (Heathcote)published at 16:00 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Northampton 17-18 Worcester

Warriors are battling hard here in a game that most expected Northampton to run away with.

Tom Heathcote slots one over from in front of the posts to give Worcester a one-point lead.

  5. HT: Gloucester 25-6 Newcastlepublished at 15:59 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

This man has been inspirational in the first half for Gloucester. The international class has been oozing from him.

It could be a long second half for the Falcons.

    James Hook
  6. Northampton 17-15 Worcesterpublished at 15:57 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

Worcester have regained their composure after a rocky first few minutes in this second half and they're on the attack.

Francois Hougaard is controlling things on the park but that's poor play from Chris Pennell who should have given the pass for a certain score.

Some heroic Saints defence is keeping Worcester out just metres from the line.

  7. Half-timepublished at 15:53 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Gloucester 25-6 Newcastle

A Craig Willis penalty for Newcastle signals the end of the half.

How Gloucester did not have a man sin-binned in the final minutes is beyond me. The penalty count was ticking over as quick as Newcastle could set their scrum. All the Falcons have to show is a second penalty.

Gloucester in control for much of the contest, but the last 10 minutes a huge statement from a stubborn Newcastle side.

  8. Gloucester 25-3 Newcastlepublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Scrum set. Whistle. Start again.

We are deep into dead time now and nothing giving as Newcastle set themselves up metres from Gloucester's line.

  9. Gloucester 25-3 Newcastlepublished at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

Gloucester with an immense defensive display in the final minutes of the first half. Newcastle's Scott Lawson is stopped, but the scrum is set and the pressure is piled on the Cherry and Whites.

Only moments away from half-time now.

  10. Gloucester 25-3 Newcastlepublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

Newcastle are huffing and puffing in a big way, with a few successive penalties now.

James Hook, who has done the business in attack, is there to hold the Falcons on the line.

A pause in the action as players from both sides get some attention from medics.

  11. try

Try (Collins, missed con Myler)published at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Northampton 17-15 Worcester

And that has to be one of the passes of the season.

Luther Burrell with a sublime pass out to Tom Collins on the wing who charges over the line with just two minutes played in the second half.

Stephen Myler's kick just drifts across the face of goal.

  12. Kick-offpublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Northampton 12-15 Worcester

We're back underway at Franklin's Gardens and Saints have an early penalty.

Again, they don't take the points and Stephen Myler kicks to the corner.

  13. try

Try (Moriarty, con missed Hook)published at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

It is on again for Gloucester.

Nice hands Willi Heinz, Mariano Galarza dishes on to to Ross Moriarty and the flanker flies over for the host's third try of the half.

  14. Penalty (Willis)published at 15:39

    Gloucester 20-3 Newcastle

After 30 minutes at Kingholm, Newcastle have their first sight at the stick.

It is a long, long range effort but Craig Willis lands it and Falcons are on the board.

  15. Postpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    FT: Sale 36-36 Saracens

A great game it certainly was!

  16. Penalty (Hook)published at 15:34

    Gloucester 20-0 Newcastle

James Hook tees up... and lands hit 15th point of the day.

All going Gloucester's way right now.

  17. Half-timepublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Northampton 12-15 Worcester

A thoroughly entertaining first-half as the two sides go blow-for-blow.

Val Rapava-Ruskin scored the first Warriors try before Harry Mallinder replied for Northampton.

Saints then went ahead through Tom Collins but Wynand Olivier ran a great line to score with seconds remaining.

The home side will need to tighten up in the second half but we've got an interesting 40 to come.

  18. Gloucester 17-0 Newcastlepublished at 15:31

Newcastle looking a momentary threat through Giovanbattista Venditti, but a knock-on is forced by Gloucester.

After some running repairs for Cherry and Whites prop Paddy McAllister, Jame Hook relieves all pressure with a mammoth kick down field. Bit of wind assistance, but still impressive

  19. try

Try (Olivier, con Heathcote)published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Northampton 12-15 Worcester

Worcester aren't finished in this half. Wynand Olivier splits the two Saints centres and powers through the gap.

He makes no mistake this time and Tom Heathcote adds the conversion to give them a three-point half-time lead.

  20. try

Try (Hook, con Hook)published at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2016

    Gloucester 17-0 Newcastle

There's even more for Laurie Fisher to smile about now. Quick hands from the Gloucester backs and James Hook wriggles his way through.

The Welshman converts his own try to cap the Cherry and Whites' early dominance.
