Saracens knock on and the pressure is relieved with a Sale scrum.
Saracens are immediately at the Sale 22 following a fine carry from Kelly Brown. Are we in for more one-way traffic in this second half?
Sale 17-22 Saracens
And Sale fly-half Danny Cipriani gets us under way with the boot.
The teams are making their way back out for the second half. Huge amount of work to do for Sale here.
HT: Sale 17-22 Saracens
Sale centre Mark Jennings is 23 today. Will he have something else to celebrate if he comes off the bench in this second half? The Sharks have it all to do.
Northampton v Worcester (14:45 GMT)
After ending their 13-game losing run in all competitions last weekend, Worcester travel to Northampton looking to secure back-to-back league wins and only their second ever Premiership double over the Saints.
They recorded a 13-12 victory at Sixways on the opening weekend of the season thanks to Tom Heathcote's dramatic penalty in added time.
But Dean Ryan's side have only taken one Premiership away win since he took over in March 2014, losing all six away games this season.
Northampton, meanwhile, have made the play-offs in each of the past six seasons.
But having already lost to Saracens and Wasps at home this season, they can ill afford another defeat at Franklin Gardens.
Saints start the day in sixth, five points behind fourth-placed Harlequins.
Once we are done and dusted at the AJ Bell Stadium, this exciting afternoon of Premiership rugby continues starting with Northampton against Worcester...
Quote MessageI’m finding hard to believe, being 17-0 up and now it is 17-22. We will be looking to claw that back in the first 10 minutes after the break.
Sale Sharks winger Tom Brady on BBC Radio Manchester:
Sale 17-22 Saracens
And the half-time whistle goes with the crowd continuing to show their displeasure at that Chris Wyles try being given.
Sale raced into a 17-0 lead thanks to tries from Sam James, Johnny Leota and Tom Arscott.
Sarries then dominated the final 20 minutes as Jim Hamilton bundled over and Wyles crossed twice to give the Premiership leaders a half-time advantage.
I need a cuppa!
Sale 17-22 Saracens
Sale were clinging onto this small lead by the skin of their teeth, but not anymore.
Chris Wyles dives over in the corner for Saracens, but it appears he went down a bit too early and had a foot in touch following some fine defensive work from Danny Cipriani.
However, the try is given by the TMO. Boos ring around the stadium.
I mentioned earlier that Charlie Hodgson seemed to be in trouble with his leg. The Saracens fly-half is now down receiving some lengthy treatment.
And he's now coming off with Nils Mordt replacing him. He gets a warm round of applause as he leave the field.
Quote MessageSale are not doing a lot wrong. They just need to find the edge they had early in the half.
Sale Sharks winger Tom Brady on BBC Radio Manchester
Apart from that 10-minute try-scoring spree from Sale, we haven't seen much else from the hosts.
It's all Saracens at the moment. The Sharks are going backwards.
Sale 17-15 Saracens
Saracens are back in this game! Charlie Hodgson makes a wonderful burst, offloads it to Nick Tompkins who breaks through Sale's defence and puts in Chris Wyles who crosses.
Charlie Hodgson misses the conversion to make the scores level, but what a comeback from the Premiership leaders.
Sale 17-10 Saracens
Sale are penalised for an infringement at the scrum and Saracens have the penalty.
Charlie Hodgson pulls it slightly right though from long range and the lead stays at seven points.
Bad news for Saracens it seems. Captain Charlie Hodgson appears to be holding his leg with an injury.
We will keep an eye on that one.
Saracens have ball in hand once again. They are finishing this half much the stronger.
Sale 17-10 Saracens
However Sale are pinged for an earlier infringement from Vadim Cobilas and Charlie Hodgson makes no mistake from the 22, slotting it through the middle of the posts.
Saracens are now back in this.
What a fast and furious start this has been at the AJ Bell Stadium.
We've finally got a break in play as Saracens wing Mike Ellery throws the ball into touch.
And breathe...
Sale 17-7 Saracens
Saracens finally find some attacking impetus through a driving maul and get the ball down on the try-line.
It goes to the Television Match Official who confirms it is a try to the visitors.
Jim Hamilton is credited with the score and Charlie Hodgson adds the extras. Just what Sarries needed you feel.
I'm not sure Mark McCall will believe what he has seen from his Saracens' side so far.
Is this a repeat of the Wasps thumping a couple of weeks ago? Surely not.
