  1. try

Try (Paice, missed Con)published at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

    Leicester 33-8 London Irish

London Irish's first real foray forwards is a profitable one as they keep it tight and David Paice charges over to give them something to cling onto. From out wide Shane Geraghty's conversion misses the mark and they can't quite reach double figures.

  2. So close but yet so far...published at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

    Leicester 33-3 London Irish

Off the re-start Leicester immediately find London Irish at sixes and sevens and it looks like Jono Kitto will add to their try-scoring tally.

However the TMO jumps in and Adam Thompstone's final pass is deemed to be forwards... much to the dismay of the home crowd.

Irish breathe a sigh of relief!

  3. try

Try (Croft, con Burns)published at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

    Leicester 33-3 London Irish

Finally Leicester make their offloads stick and the result is a Harlem Globetrotters esque try!

Jean de Villiers' final offload finds Tom Croft but prior both Manu Tuilagi and Harry Thacker showed silky hands with offloads that defied gravity.

Freddie Burns converts and now the writing really is on the wall for London Irish.

  4. Leicester 26-3 London Irishpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

It's all a little bit wayward at the minute, with penalties being given away by both sides.

Leicester are continuing to dominate the possession but aren't making their opportunities count.

Irish's defensive work is manful but it has to be taking quite a lot out of Tom Coventry's men.

It took a while to get going, but Wasps are firmly in charge at the break and heading for a sixth win a row.

Jake Cooper-Woolley, Christian Wade and Nathan Hughes tries have all been converted with Luke Wallace crossing for Quins.

Time for a half-time orange segment.

Well, starved of excitement for the first 20 minutes this game's come to life since with four tries - can the hosts get a try bonus point before the break?

  7. Kick-offpublished at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

    Leicester 26-3 London Irish

The teams are back out for the second half and London Irish have a mountain to climb. On the other hand Leicester have the the bonus-point in the bag and will simply be looking for more of the same.

  8. try

Try (Hughes, con Gopperth)published at 15:57 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

    Wasps 21-5 Harlequins

Wave after wave of Wasps attacking and Harlequins cannot keep them out.

A pass from a couple of metres out to Nathan Hughes and full pace and you don't stop the number eight from there.

Jimmy Gopperth is three from three as we approach half-time.

  9. try

Try (Wallace, missed con Botica)published at 15:54 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

    Wasps 14-5 Harlequins

First meaningful foray in the Wasps 22 and Harlequins come away with points.

They had gone close with a couple of drives before this, but Luke Wallace is the grateful recipient at the back of the rolling maul.

Ben Botica doesn't get his direction right with his first strike at goal from the conversion.

  10. Try review (Harlequins)published at 15:53 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

    Wasps 14-0 Harlequins

Since that second try, it's been all Harlequins and we're just checking with the television match official if Quins have got the touch down from a driving maul.

  11. try

Try (Wade, con Gopperth)published at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

    Wasps 14-0 Harlequins

I said Wasps were on top and they've extended their lead.

Nathan Hughes does the damage through the middle and then slick hands from Charles Piutau puts Christian Wade in out wide.

Jimmy Gopperth makes it two from two from the tee.

  12. Wasps 7-0 Harlequinspublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

A kick and chase from Dan Robson and a drive from Nathan Hughes close to the line will tell you that Wasps are on top after that try.

Harlequins yet to really get into the hosts half.

It's been all about the home side in this opening-half as they've played all of the rugby and given themselves a healthy half-time cushion.

London Irish have had one or two flourishes forward but they've been overpowered by a Leicester team that are determined to show their worth. Late replacement hooker Harry Thacker has been everywhere and Freddie Burns' radar is on target.

Will Irish have any answers in the second or will Leicester continue in the same manner?

  14. try

Try (Kitto, con Burns)published at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

    Leicester 24-3 London Irish

Freddie Burns makes the initial break and Mike Fitzgerald's support line is perfect. Fitzgerald then shows the hands of a centre as he offloads to Jono Kitto who turns on the pace to score

Once again Burns is on target with the conversion and as half-time approaches the Tigers are going through the gears with ease.

  15. try

    Try (Cooper-Woolley, con Gopperth)published at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

    Wasps 7-0 Harlequins

    Some points! Some actual points.

Wasps have had much more of the possession and that dominance has been rewarded.

The hard work of the forwards is rewarded and Jake Cooper-Woolley powers over from close range - Jimmy Gopperth adds the extras

  16. Leicester 19-3 London Irishpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

A little break in proceedings as a few players are receiving treatment. It's a physical old affair and Manu Tuilagi is making his presence felt... Blair Cowen was on the receiving end of a 'Tuilagi special' that we think might have been heard across the country!

  17. Wasps 0-0 Harlequinspublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

Approaching the halfway point of the first half - no points, little action and quite a few errors.

No real excuses either as there is bright sunshine at the Ricoh Arena. Defence on top. To put it into context, I've seen a lot of the centre circle drawn on the pitch as Coventry City, of course, play at the same venue.

  18. try

Try (McCaffrey, con Burns)published at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

    Leicester 19-3 London Irish

It's textbook rugby for the Tigers as Harry Thacker finds his man at the back of the line-out, Jono Kitto whips the ball out and Lachlan McCaffrey picks his line brilliantly.

Leicester had been pressing incessantly and with Freddie Burns' conversion they finally gain their reward.

Scrappy would be a kind way to describe the opening 11 minutes at the Ricoh Arena.

A couple of half breaks from Wasps is about the best of the excitement so far.

Dai Young's face probably sums it up.

  20. Leicester 12-3 London Irishpublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2016

After the early flourish of points Leicester are still enjoying the lions' share of the territory but aren't making it count.

The boots of Freddie Burns and Matthew Tait are finding space behind Irish but they're lacking a spot of precision to finish the opportunities off.
