  2. O'Shea has his saypublished at 22:00 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2016

    FT: Harlequins 35-28 Bath

Harlequins director of rugby Conor O'Shea told BT Sport:

"I think it's so hard to take in.

"We've gone through a pretty tough few weeks and the way a couple of young fellas fronted up was superb.

"They're frustrated in the dressing room because thee were playing so well and our mistakes and our errors let in a really good Bath side.

"Credit to the opposition for playing as they did because they could have backed up and not come back."

  3. Mike Ford: 'We've got seven games to go and we're going to win the next seven'published at 21:59 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2016

    FT: Harlequins 35-28 Bath

Bath head coach Mike Ford told BT Sport:

"We shot ourselves in the foot I thought.

"The sin-binning cost us 24 points, we have had away a couple of loose passes which gave away some tries and we were always on the back foot.

"We're going to win our next game, that's all we can do.

"We'll get a few bodies back in the next few weeks and we're going to be positive.

"We've got seven games to go and we're going to win the next seven."

"It's difficult to break the States. The Beatles managed it, One Direction got there, I think, and now it's Premiership Rugby's turn."

Those are the words of Premiership commercial director Dominic Hayes as the English game prepares to break new ground on Saturday, when its first competitive fixture overseas kicks-off just half an hour from the bright lights of Manhattan and New York.

Will it be a success? Should we expect more games to be played abroad in the future? BBC Sport's Adam Williams has found out.

  7. Nick Easter: 'Hopefully it will kick start a little bit of a run'published at 21:46 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2016

    FT: Harlequins 35-28 Bath

Harlequins forward Nick Easter told BT Sport:

"For 50 minutes it was exceptional. We held onto the ball and looked very dangerous and we kept a very well-organised Bath attack out.

"But then we seemed to be on the wrong end of the referee at the end, we've got to look at that and paint the right pictures. Some of the decisions we were left scratching our heads, but it's not good doing that, we've just got to make sure we deal with it.

"But we dug in and what you saw was a side that hasn't won many in the last five or six games and struggle to get over the line and we got over the line.

"Hopefully it will kick start a little bit of a run now."

    Harlequins 35-6 Bath

What a great early St Patrick's Day present Harlequins have given Conor O'Shea. Barring one of the greatest comebacks ever his side will be fifth, level on points with fourth-placed Wasps in a few minutes time. His side's backs have been excellent, especially in the first half and defensively Bath have been kept well and truly at bay.
