  1. Bath 12-7 Newcastle Falconspublished at 43 mins

Socino scatters the cover with a scything break and gets the ball away to Simon Hammersley.

The ball pushed wide to the left and Marcus Watson sends a clever little kick into touch when the move is shut down to turn the home side around.

Penalty goes Falcons way again at another breakdown.

  2. Bath 12-7 Newcastle Falconspublished at 41 mins

First action of the second-half sees Dominic Day get a right old bang (accidentally) from the elbow of Calum Green at a Falcons drive.

Falcons penalty meanwhile, Mike Delany's radar on-point in this second-half.

  3. Kick-offpublished at 40 mins

    HT: Bath 12-7 Newcastle Falcons

Ollie Devoto clips the ball away and Newcastle get the first touch of the ball in the second half.

Bath come flooding out of the dressing rooms, Falcons out there too.

We're about to get back underway shortly...

  5. England's Grand Slam historypublished at 20:43

Of course the Six Nations comes to a close tomorrow... and there's still much at stake for England. Grand Slam on the line.

Eddie Jones can make an immediate impression with England if his players can secure a Grand Slam with victory against France in Paris (Saturday, 19 March, 20:00 GMT)

However history is not on his side, as some pretty impressive predecessors have been unable to seal the deal.

  6. HT: Bath 12-7 Newcastle Falconspublished at 20:37

I don't think Bath skipper Stuart Houston will be sending referee Tim Wigglesworth any Christmas cards given the penalty count in that opening 40.

    It's 8-3 at half-time on that score.

However, when they've been good, they've been really good.

I wonder whether they'll try to push things wide a bit more because Newcastle have dominated the middle.

  7. HT: Bath 12-7 Newcastle Falconspublished at 20:34

Well the score would definitely have been different if the otherwise impeccable Mike Delany had landed a couple of penalties in the opening 40.

They deservedly led for large parts and Delany played a really key part in it. However he will look back on those missed opportunities with some disappointment.

Absolutely fantastic half from Newcastle with 60% of territory in Bath's half. But there has been two pieces of brilliant play, one from Semesa Rokoduguni, one from Francois Louw. It hasn't been perfect from Bath but hopefully they can use that momentum to get that bonus point they so desperately need."

  9. Half-timepublished at 40 mins

    Bath 12-7 Newcastle Falcons

It's an 80 minute game, two 40 minutes halves. If it were a 30-minute half then the Newcastle Falcons would be heading for the sheds very happy.

It's not though. Instead they trail.

It's really harsh on the visitors who dominated so much of that half but had one Rob Vickers try to show for it.

Bath however have match-winners in their midst in Semesa Rokoduguni in particular, and he has made the difference with two tries at the end of that first period.

Still plenty of rugby to be played though...

  10. try

    Try (Rokoduguni)published at 38 mins

    Bath 12-7 Newcastle Falcons

How this game has turned on the back of two Semesa Rokoduguni tries.

The first was ingenuity, the second a huge break by Francois Louw that took him through the line and he fed the England flier to steam across the stripe.

No go from Tom Homer with the conversion.

  11. Bath 7-7 Newcastle Falconspublished at 37 mins

Newcastle force Chris Cook into a panicky clearing kick and Newcastle rumble back forward on the return.

Bath get a penalty after Leroy Houston was held in the tackle. Some field position and a line-out in Falcons territory is the reward.

  12. Bath 7-7 Newcastle Falconspublished at 35 mins

Bath cough up and then snatch back good ball here. Then lose it in the middle.

    Scrappy, scrappy play.

Falcons swamped the ruck with numbers and Mike Delany, no surprises, finds touch again.

They're peppering Bath with set-pieces in good field position and it's been successful to an extent so far.

It was quite a poor kick (from Devoto), but skills like that you can't defend. Amazing how a little swing like that can make a huge difference in this game."

  14. try

Try (Rokoduguni, con Homer)published at 31 mins

    Bath 7-7 Newcastle Falcons

One of the most bizarre, inventive and amusing tries you'll see from England winger Semesa Rokoduguni.

A wayward cross-fielder from Ollie Devoto drew groans but the former British Army man Rokoduguni nudged the ball forward football-style and collected the loose ball to score.

Falcons were caught napping by the sheer cheek! Tom Homer whacks the kick through the sticks and we are level. Wow.

England's men ensured their Six Nations championship success after Scotland beat France last weekend, and the women can make it a Red Rose double IF they beat the French tonight in Vannes (K/O 20:00 GMT).

Scott Bemand's side have won all four games so far and would also complete a Grand Slam with victory but they'll have to do it against a France side unbeaten in nine 6N matches on home soil.

  16. Bath 0-7 Newcastle Falconspublished at 29 mins

Bath have a really powerful back-line but it's the pace and skill of the Falcons backs that is dominating this game at present.

Is Kyle Eastmond's absence affecting their fluidity? Let us know what you think on #bbcrugby.

  17. Bath 0-7 Newcastle Falconspublished at 27 mins

Try chalked off after George McGuigan's cheeky sneak into the corner.

Hand was in touch first. Bath tried to clear their lines after securing line-out ball but Falcons come rushing back.

They're struggling to cope with the Newcastle pace at the moment, Chris Cook smacks a clearance kick downfield. Breathless.

  18. Bath 0-7 Newcastle Falconspublished at 25 mins

Big line-out in the Bath 22 for the Falcons who look to drive but they're being pushed across field.

ANOTHER penalty at that maul. Delany expected to dribble this into touch again.

  19. Missed penalty (Delany)published at 24 mins

    Bath 0-7 Newcastle Falcons

Somehow Mike Delany pulls the ball wide of the sticks and it remains 7-0.

Bath drop out and make the Falcons 10m line where Nili Latu gathers in space.

Another Falcons penalty at the ruck.

  20. Bath 0-7 Newcastle Falconspublished at 21 mins

Thumping shift to the right from the base of that scrum. Falcons playing with so much enthusiasm and daring.

Penalty for a high-tackle goes their way, Mouritz Botha is down from Stuart Hooper's swinging arm.
