Man of the match Peter Betham on BT Sport: "It was a very big game for us and we’re very blessed and thankful. We were very clinical. More often than not we make mistakes but today was a good day for us. I can’t hear you very well because of this crowd."

    Leicester fans, you noisy blighters...

"Leicester Tigers have had support for numerous years - wherever the semi-final happens to be, the fans will travel and it will feel like Welford Road. Beware any side up against Leicester Tigers. Three English teams in the semis is a real statement of intent. This was a demoralised Stade side - Leicester were well out in front."

English club rugby is booming in Europe.

Three Premiership teams have made it into the last four of the Champions Cup.

Saracens will face Wasps, and six-try Leicester will face either Racing 92 or Toulon, who play later today.

If Racing progress, Leicester will have the home country advantage at the City Ground in Nottingham.

If it's reigning champions Toulon, the semi-final will be in Nice.

One last attack from Leicester? They earn a line-out in the Stade 22 but the French side steal possession.

There's no time to capitalise, though. The final whistle is blown.

Leicester are in the semi-finals of the Champions Cup for the first time since 2009.

Stade are still scrapping. They've got four minutes left before their Champions Cup exit is confirmed.

The French earn a scrum just outside the Leicester 22, and there's a knock on, so they regroup and go again but the Tigers clear the danger.

Owen Williams has hit the post three times so far. Quite a feat, really, but unfortunately you don't win a prize for that.

He has a go from 30 metres out after Leicester earn a penalty. This time it goes well wide.

You know I said Stade Francais looked knackered?

They've just allowed Telusa Veainu to break clear. He puts his chunky legs into action and gains 60 metres before feeding to Manu Tuilagi.

The big Leicester centre is brought down by Jules Plisson, and he's penalised for it.

The footballing Leicester have won 2-0 against Sunderland to go 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Stade Francais look knackered, but they're still trying to push forward.

They try to drive a maul forward from a line-out but they loose the ball too easily and it's a Leicester scrum inside their own 22.

Game, set, match, semi-final place for Leicester.

Telusa Veainu dances over in the right corner, after putting on the afterburners to race clear.

The TMO is in touch with referee Nigel Owens. He wants to check the one-handed grounding by Veainu. It's been approved.

Owen Williams hits the post AGAIN with his conversion, though.

Scrum in the middle of the park and Leicester steam forward with purpose, before Jeremy Sinzelle makes a well-timed tackle.

Peter Betham then has another go up the left flank. Stade at full stretch now.

Greg Bateman is also on for hooker Harry Thacker, and Tom Croft is on for Lachlan McCaffrey.

Meanwhile, for Stade, Hugo Bonneval comes on for Djibril Camera at full-back.

"Classic Leicester. Punishing mistakes and punishing poor kicks, some of the offloading today has been exceptional. When it's time to attack they're picking the right moments."

  19. try

    Surely this is Leicester's now?

Flanker Mike Fitzgerald scoots over in the corner after being fed by an unselfish Niki Goneva, who's on a hat-trick.

A brilliant break for the hosts, and a great team try after some nifty footwork from Telusa Veainu and Brendon O'Connor in the build up.

Replacement Owen Williams hasn't quite got a handle on his kicking game yet, mind.

  20. Missed penaltypublished at 58 mins

    Leicester 31-13 Stade Francais

Owen Williams gets his first sniff of action as he lines up a penalty after Stade are pinged for not releasing.

His kick is poorly struck and ricochets off the upright.
