Saracens work their way up the field and cap it off with a brilliant try.

They move almost 70 metres through the phases and a couple of good line breaks.

Duncan Taylor is stopped just metres short but Sarries manage to keep the momentum.

The ball eventually comes back to Alex Goode and, although he fumbles, he shows quick feet to step back inside and spin through a tackle to wriggle over the line.

    Owen Farrell adds the extras.

That is good from Exeter. Saracens managed to work themselves up there and one mistake in these conditions costs you 50 metres.

The scrum has to be reset after the ball goes all the way through the tunnel but the second time round is more successful for Exeter. Gareth Steenson clears just over halfway.

Another Saracens rolling maul, but Exeter do a great job of countering it.

Sarries get the warning to use the ball from Matthew Carley and Maro Itoje fails to get it going.

Exeter are awarded a scrum just in front of the posts.

  5. Saracens 0-0 Exeterpublished at 12 mins

Sarries gather and drive into the Exeter half and win a penalty as the Chief collapse the maul.

Owen Farrell kicks upfield, with the wind too much of a factor to go for the posts.

His kick just about bounces into touch just inside the Exeter 22.

  6. Saracens 0-0 Exeterpublished at 11 mins

Saracens go through the phases but Exeter steal it in the tackle.

Gareth Steenson tries to kick for the corner and pin Sarries back but it goes out on the full, giving Sarries a line-out just inside their own half.

  7. Saracens 0-0 Exeterpublished at 9 mins

The Chiefs are making use of their kicking game, but their kicks have just been too long so far, allowing Chris Wyles and Alex Goode to call marks in their own 22.

It's good play by Exeter but soft defence from Saracens. I think they will be disappointed with not rolling away. They will disappointed with how soft that was so early in the game.

No harm in clearing that one up, Chris!

  10. Missed penalty (Steenson)published at 6 mins

    Saracens 0-0 Exeter

The wind is behind Steenson but his kick from just over 40 metres out skews wide, to the left of the posts.

He needed a team-mate to lie down and keep the ball still on the tee during his run-up.

  11. Saracens 0-0 Exeterpublished at 6 mins

Exeter are awarded the first scrum of the day - and win it.

The Chiefs are then awarded a penalty for a Sarries player not rolling away following a tackle.

Advantage is played but it comes to nothing, giving Gareth Steenson the chance to kick the first points of the game.

  12. Saracens 0-0 Exeterpublished at 3 mins

Exeter make good progress from the kick-off, charging down a clearing kick and penning Sarries in their own 22.

The hosts have had to work hard to clear their lines, eventually winning a penalty for a high tackle.

The teams are out at Allianz Park.

It's a rather grey day in north London, with rain and wind the order of the day

Full-back Alex Goode and winger Chris Wyles have led Sarries out together to mark their 200th appearances for the Premiership champions.

There are some motorcyles revving up pitchside to mark the occasion as well. I'm not totally sure why...
