    Wasps v Exeter (15:15 BST)

Wasps certainly have the upper hand when it comes to European experience.

They are two-time Heineken Cup winners (2004, 2007) and are in the knockout stages for the second consecutive season.

For Chiefs, it's the first time they have found themselves vying for a spot in the last four of Europe’s top club competition.

  9. Road to the quarter-finals (part II)published at 14:55 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Wasps v Exeter (15:15 BST)

Exeter went into their final Pool Two game in third place, five points off the top. They needed to beat Ospreys and hope Clermont Auvergne lost against Bordeaux-Begles.

The Chiefs did their bit, winning 33-17 against their Pro12 opponents, but for a while after the final whistle no one was really sure of the permutations - or who had qualified.

When news came through that Bordeaux had somehow overcome the 2015 finalists, Sandy Park and its head dress-wearing occupants went wild.

Oooh, we do love it when a tournament gets to the knockout bit.

But the group stages of the Champions Cup also served up some brilliant drama.

Title-holders Toulon had gone into the final round of games as Pool Five leaders, but Wasps leapfrogged them to finish top on points scored in their two meetings.

The Premiership side finished the pool in style, too, by battering poor old Leinster 51-10.

No, you're not mistaken. This is the European Champions Cup.

It just so happens the English are ruling the joint this year.

We've got two all-Premiership ties for you today - with a place in a European semi-final at stake.

First up, those pesky Wasps against Devon's favourite underdogs Exeter Chiefs.
