Billy Vunipola rattles Racing scrum-half Mike Phillips backwards at a rate of knots.

    But Racing are still trundling.

They are up to within five.

Racing earn a penalty and hoof down into Saracens 22m.

They need something from this visit to the dangerzone.

Saracens hooker Jamie George has replaced Schalk Brits by the way. Billy Vunipola is patched up and back on the field after a trip to the blood bin.

Racing are forced into another change.

Centre Alexandre Dumoulin is limping from the fray to be replaced by Henry Chavancy.

The belief seems to be draining out of the French side. Choruses of Swing Low from the Saracens fans.

    Bit early for that.

Saracens are turning the screw. The first try of the match might be a killer blow if it is scored by Saracens.

The English side are probing up around the Racing 22m.

A stubbed kick through by Chris Wyles. Duncan Taylor in hot pursuit, but Joe Rokocoko shepherds it dead.

Owen Farrell pulling the strings. He has been walloped after kicking the ball skywards by Racing flanker Wenceslas Lauret though.

Was it late and cynical? Or was he committed to trying to get a charge-down?

Farrell is on the canvas for a few seconds. Play continues, but when we have a stoppage Nigel Owens calls it back.

No case to answer decides the Welshman.

Owen Farrell got into a bit of bother for his tackling against Wasps in the semi-final and he is back under the microscope here.

The fly-half has gone in high-ish on Racing number eight Chris Masoe and, after forensic video review, Nigel Owens awards a penalty. And nothing more.

Farrell looks perplexed. It is too far to kick for goal, but Racing fail to find touch.

    Unforgiveable error.

Dimitri Szarzewski comes whipping around the ruck to pounce on the ball as he thinks the ball has rolled beyond the rearmost Saracens' foot.

Nigel Owens thinks otherwise. Replays suggest that the Racing hooker was right.

Owen Farrell has no time to worry about the rights and wrongs. He boots an easy penalty to take Saracens more than a converted score clear.

    Racing are looking ragged.

Owen Farrell spots a hole and pokes a dead-eyed grubber into the corner to turn up the pressure on Racing hooker Dimitri Szarzewski.

Billy Vunipola has gone off for a blood injury with Jackson Wray on in his place by the way.

Racing pinned back on their own five metre.

Dimitri Szarzewski finds his man, but Maro Itoje and George Kruis tag-team up to force him out of play.

A rare rick in the Saracens line-out machine follows through.

Kruis' tap-down finds only Racing hands and the pressure is relieved.

Remi Tales is immediately targetted with some heavy first-phase traffic.

The replacement Racing fly-half stands up well to the charge of Brad Barritt.

    A big change for Racing.

Dan Carter cannot continue after hurting his calf early in the first half. Remi Tales - a France international - is on in his place.

A fully fit fly-half might give Racing more options. But the departure of Carter might see a few heads drop as well.

Is he going to last the course?

"The sun is going to dry this track out and Racing have to play. They have to score points and tries. Saracens have to be well drilled, kick their penalties, be disciplined and I am confident that they will win."

Racing 92 are sat like schoolboys in their dressing rooms as their coach gives his instructions.

Saracens have some useful bench options. The energy of Jamie George, the experience of Charlie Hodgson, the long-range kicking of Marcelo Bosch.

Whom might they call on to see this out?
