  1. Exeter 17-3 Waspspublished at 60 mins

If it was to stay like this in terms of the scoreline, Exeter would leapfrog Wasps into second place and go two points clear of them.

The Chiefs are at top-six chasing Harlequins in their final game, with Wasps hosting London Irish.

    Exeter 17-3 Wasps

Phil Dollman's been brilliant so far this afternoon and his support play gets him a try.

First he gives the ball to Ian Whitten and the Exeter centre then off loads it back to the full-back and crosses unopposed.

Gareth Steenson adds the extras and it looks a long way back for Wasps.

I've talked about the Exeter defence a number of times so far, but again the nullify the Wasps attacking threat and Olly Woodburn picks up a loose pass to win back possession for the hosts.

Something just seems missing from Dai Young's side today.

Wasps captain and England flanker James Haskell is just down receiving some treatment at the moment with time off.

He takes off his red scrum cap and is led from the field off his own steam.

Wasps are reduced to almost walking pace in attack as wave after wave of attack is neutralised by the black wall of Exeter.

The Coventry side are the highest point scorers in the Premiership but they've struggled so far against the league's meanest defence.

Another Exeter penalty and they're getting on top at the breakdown.

Ian Whitten with the jackel work winning them back possession but Gareth Steenson's radar is not quite right and he kicks it dead from and Wasps now have the scrum.

Jack Nowell is sprinting away chasing his own kick as it bounces towards the in goal area, but the ball beats him into touch and dead.

Quick thinking from the England winger nearly Exeter in for a second try.

  8. Exeter 10-3 Waspspublished at 49 mins

A quick 22 drop out from Wasps and they look for a second like they might break down the right but Charles Piatua looks knocks on just when the move was in full flow.

  9. Missed penalty (Steenson)published at 46 mins

    Exeter 10-3 Wasps

You don't see one of these too often.

This is a simpler kick for Gareth Steenson than his last strike as it's pretty much centre of the pitch but he just seems to drag across the ball and it goes wide.

  10. Penalty (Steenson)published at 44 mins

    Exeter 10-3 Wasps

Gareth Steenson goes 43 points clear in the race for the golden boot at the end of the season.

This is from some way out but the wind makes it an easy enough strike.

  11. Exeter 7-3 Waspspublished at 43 mins

Well, Wasps may have been on top at scrum time in the first half but a huge Exeter shove wins them a penalty inside the visitors half.

This time Gareth Steenson goes for the sticks.

    Gareth Steenson gets us going.

Just a reminder, Exeter are in their black home colours and Wasps in their white away kit.

    Exeter 7-3 Wasps

Olly Woodburn's try the difference between the two teams in what has been a tight, hard fought first 40 minutes.

Wasps will have perhaps felt they have not used the wind to their advantage but Exeter showed how to play against it.

If the score stays this then the Chiefs go above Wasps into second place.

  18. Exeter 7-3 Waspspublished at 39 mins

When they have the wind in the second-half I don't imagine Exeter will be not taking those penalties that are on for three points.

Again Wasps defend their driving maul successfully and have a scrum to attempt to complete the clearance.

More Exeter pressure inside the Wasps 22 but when it comes to nothing they are taken back for an offside.

With a penalty again from a kickable position, Gareth Steenson nudges it to touch instead of going for three points.

Elliot Daly takes over kicking duties for the long-range kicks and this sails through from the halfway line, just showing you the strength of the wind.

Wasps on the board despite being second best for most of this so far.
