Olly Woodburn has the ball down again for Exeter, but the referee had already blown his whistle.

Geoff Parling was offside after chasing Phil Dollman's kick through - Dollman was sent through initially after a stunning pass by Henry Slade between two players.

Wasps may have the wind but they've yet to really use it to their advantage until now.

With his side going backwards with the ball in hand, Jimmy Gopperth looks up and drills the ball to the touchline to within six metres of the try line.

    Exeter 7-0 Wasps

This is some finish from the Exeter winger Olly Woodburn as he bursts down the left, shows incredible strength to barge through Frank Halai and dot down in the corner.

Garth Steenson with an excellent conversion from out wide and the Chiefs have a deserved lead.

    Exeter 0-0 Wasps

Olly Woodburn looks to have barged his way down the touchline and crossed out wide but the television match official will let us know.

The pressure building as Exeter's attack crosses the gain line again and again.

However, another knock from about eight metres out stops their progress and Wasps will have another scrum.

Dai Young's second-placed side have yet to really get out of their own half.

Nathan Hughes has a big grin on his face as Wasps win another penalty from their own scrum.

Rob Baxter's side have certainly been on top when it comes to territory but we're still awaiting the first points of the game.

    Credit the Wasps defence again.

Twice Exeter look like their maul will take them all the way to the try line, but twice Wasps have white shirts coming through the middle to stop it.

The visitors have a penalty inside their own half to clear.

  8. Exeter 0-0 Waspspublished at 19 mins

No real action neat the try line yet, but Exeter get the first kickable penalty on the Wasps 22 and opt for touch rather than three points with the wind against them.

I'm reliably informed that Wasps have the advantage of the wind in Devon, but they're yet to really use it to their advantage and pin Exeter in.

Dave Ewers and Don Armand lead a couple of big charges for the hosts but eventually Armand knocks on.

Credit to the Wasps pack here, outstanding defence.

They stop the initial Exeter shove from the driving maul and Joe Launchbury is a nuisance in the middle and it collapses so the visitors have the put into the scrum.

Exeter's driving maul begins to get going but England flanker James Haskell brings it down and the Chiefs kick to the corner for a line-out five metres out...

  12. Exeter 0-0 Waspspublished at 10 mins

Henry Slade will be looking to impress England head coach Eddie Jones to find a space in his squad for the trip to Australia this summer, but that wasn't his finest moment as he runs into Jack Nowell and Wasps get the penalty.

Tight, even opening 10 minutes so far.

  13. Exeter 0-0 Waspspublished at 8 mins

Wasps win a penalty from the first scrum and Jimmy Gopperth puts them just inside the Exeter half.

The Premiership's best attacking side have been blunted so far and after a few phases from the line-out they lose the ball.

  14. Exeter 0-0 Waspspublished at 5 mins

First glimpse of a line break, with Exeter full-back Phil Dollman bursting through.

He is just about scragged when it looks like he might burst away and Wasps then have a scrum as the Chiefs are unable to keep hold of the ball.

  15. Exeter 0-0 Waspspublished at 4 mins

Now Exeter with ball in hand trying to show what they can do.

They work it from left to right along the Wasps 22, but so far the Coventry side have stopped them getting deeper into their territory.

  16. Exeter 0-0 Waspspublished at 2 mins

All Wasps inside the first couple of minutes.

The white shirts have worked it through a number of phases on the halfway line but the Exeter defence never looks like it is going to be broken down and win a penalty at the breakdown.
