I think Exeter's pack is strong enough and they can compete, certainly in the scrum, though the line-out might favour Saracens. But kicking-wise, Chiefs have better kickers and they need to play more of a territory game.

Saracens are the only side to have done the double over Exeter this season.

Their 36-18 win at Allianz Park in March followed a tense 14-11 victory at Sandy Park, Exeter's only loss at home since the beginning of 2015.

It was roles reversed last season, with the Chiefs doing the double over Saracens in 2014-15, winning 27-19 at home and 24-20 in north London.

Sarries have the upper hand in previous Premiership meetings, winning eight times to Exeter's four.

We don't play well at Twickenham but that has got to change some time. Saracens are the best team in Europe, so it will be a huge test for us. If we can get the rub of the green, we could just nick it. Exeter's strength is our forward pack. I think we'll intimidate Saracens a bit.

I've been speaking to BBC Radio 5 live's Jeremy Guscott ahead of kick-off, and here's what he had to say about Saracens...

    Quote Message

Saracens are favourites. They have been here so many times, they've got the experience and they've got the big match players. They are a top side and that's why I expect Saracens to win.

And this is what he had to say about Exeter Chiefs...

    Quote Message

Exeter are here by right. They finished second during the regular season, so it's good that they have got the opportunity to go one step further and win. Unless Exeter absolutely capitulate it's going to be close.

Like Sarries, Exeter Chiefs have also named unchanged side for the Twickenham showpiece.

That means Will Chudley is available, having had a citing for an alleged kick on Joe Launchbury dismissed.

Thomas Waldrom, this season's leading try-scorer in the Premiership, misses out with the knee injury he sustained in the semi-final win over Wasps.

As kick-off is fast approaching, let's run through the team news from Twickenham.

With fly-half Owen Farrell recovering from a rib injury, Saracens name an unchanged side from the one which beat Leicester 44-17 in the play-offs last week.

In fact, the XV is the same as the one which beat Racing 92 to clinch the European Champions Cup earlier this month.

Exeter moved closer to a home semi-final at the start of May with a 24-3 win at home to Wasps before closing out the campaign in style, scoring 10 tries at Harlequins.

Winger Jack Nowell grabbed a hat-trick and James Short got a brace as the Chiefs thrashed Quins 62-24.

Saracens finished the regular campaign with back-to-back victories, beating Newcastle and Worcester Warriors.

Sarries said farewell to Jacques Burger following their win over the Falcons at Allianz Park, with the flanker retiring from rugby to return to Namibia and become a farmer.

Sarries began April with a routine victory at Bath and then Chris Ashton scored a brace of tries to give the north London side a 22-12 victory over Harlequins in front of over 80,000 spectators at Wembley.

It would be a mixed month for the Chiefs, however, as Exeter followed a 50-12 win at home to Worcester with a 16-9 reverse at Gloucester.

Rugby says goodbye to a Premiership legend this afternoon.

Charlie Hodgson, the competition's all-time leading points scorer with 2,623, is set to make his final playing appearance before his retirement.

The 35-year-old former England fly-half has been named among the Saracens replacements but is expected to play some part from the bench, making what would be his 253rd league outing.

Former Sale player Hodgson, who has scored 154 points in 17 league appearances this season, is bidding to win the Premiership for the third time.

"Hopefully it will be a big day either way for Charlie," Sarries director of rugby Mark McCall told BBC London.

"He has had a remarkable Premiership career and is one of the all-time greats. He deserves to go out in a Premiership final."

March would start with defeats for both Saracens and Exeter, with Sarries beaten 20-15 at Northampton and the Chiefs losing 31-27 at Leicester.

Both sides were victorious in round 16, as Exeter beat Newcastle and Sarries prevailed at London Irish.

Saracens were beaten 21-13 at Leicester but then overcame the Chiefs 36-18 to close out the month.
