  1. Drop-goalpublished at 16:14 British Summer Time 3 September 2016

Second time lucky for Bath fly-half George Ford.

The 23-year-old pings a superb drop goal with a slippy ball through the posts.

Meanwhile Ben Foden is coming off injured - his replacement is George North. Huge cheers from the home crowd.

  3. Deadlock brokenpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 3 September 2016

    Northampton 0-3 Bath

We have the first points on the board at Franklin's Gardens. After 33 minutes.

George Ford nails a penalty between the sticks for the visitors moments after his attempted drop goal bounced back off the post.

I've got the feeling this is going to be an afternoon for the kickers.

    Harlequins v Bristol (16:30 BST)

The second match of the London Double Header is coming up shortly, so here are the teams...

Harlequins start their 150th year with scrum-half Danny Care captaining the side and Jamie Roberts at centre.

England trio Joe Marler, Chris Robshaw and Jack Clifford all start.

Having finished in seventh place last season under Conor O'Shea, Quins will be looking for a solid start to their 2016/17 campaign under new head coach John Kingston.

  5. Picamoles quiet so farpublished at 16:05

    Northampton 0-0 Bath

    Louis Picamoles

Louis Picamoles is the first high-profile French international to sign for an English club since Sébastien Chabal joined Sale in 2000.

His reported salary - £420,000. Not bad work if you can get it! But he's unable to pull many strings so far.

0-0. Dull. Wet. 30 minutes gone.

  6. FT: Saracens 35-3 Worcesterpublished at 16:01 British Summer Time 3 September 2016

Saracens debutant Schalk Burger told BT Sport: "It's great playing for Saracens. It wasn't the best of matches, it was one of the early season games when everyone is felling their way into it."

  7. FT: Saracens 35-3 Worcesterpublished at 16:01 British Summer Time 3 September 2016

Saracens number eight Billy Vunipola told BT Sport:

"We knew we had to work hard, nothing is easy in the Premiership.

"I'm glad we stuck at it. I'm glad our defence was water tight and hope to carry it on. Everyone forgets when we get into the winter it's hard to come away with five points - we stuck to our gameplan."

  8. Stalemate at Franklin's Gardenspublished at 15:56 British Summer Time 3 September 2016

    Northampton 0-0 Bath

Saints' Harry Mallinder has the chance to give his side the lead with a penalty from about 40 metres.

But the youngster sends it just short of the sticks. No tries, little action at a soggy Franklin's Gardens after 25 minutes.

    Saracens 35-3 Worcester

After a dour first half, defending champions Saracens came out in the second and breezed past Worcester Warriors despite numerous errors.

It wasn't a vintage match, but Sarries will be relatively pleased with that, especially getting the bonus point.

For Worcester, they need to show a lot more if they plan on staying in rugby union's top flight.

  10. try

Try (Spencer, missed con Lozowski)published at 77 mins

    Saracens 35-3 Worcester

What an absolutely superb try from Ben Spencer!

The scrum-half dances his way through the Worcester line, then beats three defenders to touch down. That's one for the highlights reel of this season's Premiership already!

  11. get involved

Get Involved at #bbcrugbypublished at 15:52 British Summer Time 3 September 2016

Your club's season in six words

Tim Pollard: running rugby runs riot round Ricoh (Wasps)

Tom Avery: More of the same please boys. (Sarries)

  12. Saracens 30-3 Worcesterpublished at 75 mins

From a line-out, Worcester move forward but the ball is dropped in a tackle.

I think I could have written the second part of that sentence about 15 times in this match. The intensity of this game has totally gone.

    owen farrell

That's a terrifying stat for other Premiership sides isn't it? Saracens are on the verge of getting within 16 wins of last year's league total...

Meanwhile, Warriors captain Gerritt-Jan van Velze is being taken off the field through injury, and 'Freed From Desire', better known as 'Will Grigg's on Fire', is played over the tannoy. That song will not go away.

  14. Faletau injured after 12 minutespublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 3 September 2016

    Northampton 0-0 Bath

Ah, that's not a good start for Toby Faletau's Bath career.

The Wales back-row takes a knock and is forced from the field.

Tom Ellis replaces the 25-year-old. I'm not quite sure what the problem is but will let you know as soon as I find out.

Sean Maitland has been quiet on his Saracens debut, but he finds a gap through the Worcester defence before the ball goes forward and that attack ends. Other than that break, it's been all Worcester the last five minutes but they can't break though.

Saracens would love that fourth try for a bonus point.

  16. 'You have to be able to score tries'published at 15:41 British Summer Time 3 September 2016

    Saracens 30-3 Worcester

    Matt Dawson
2003 World Cup winner on BBC Radio 5 live

"Worcester have barely been able to go through three or four phases in attack today. My goodness they need to improve if they're going to survive in this league."

  17. Saracens 30-3 Worcesterpublished at 68 mins

James Johnston is back on the field to bring Worcester back to their full compliment following his time sitting in the sin-bin.

I really wish it was called the naughty chair. Meanwhile, on the field there isn't much to really tell you about, apart from Worcester finally have a little bit of ball in the second half.

  18. Saracens 30-3 Worcesterpublished at 64 mins

Mark McCall is a perfectionist, isn't he?

The Saracens director of rugby is still not looking too happy with his side. To be fair, they have made a number of handling errors in this match and quite frankly the scoreline could have some more gloss on it.

  19. Can Saints' back line catch fire?published at 15:35 British Summer Time 3 September 2016

    Northampton 0-0 Bath

    Jeremy Guscott
Ex-England centre on BBC Radio 5 live

"I want to see this Northampton back line really catch fire. With the inclusion of Harry Malinder at number 10, we could just see that."

  20. Saracens 30-3 Worcesterpublished at 60 mins

This is the Saracens we are used to seeing. They are running the show here in front of a pretty good crowd at Twickenham.

One thing which may put a dampner on things, we're going to uncontested scrums while James Johnston is in the bin, as the other tighthead Nick Schonert came off injured in the first half.
