    Well, not a bad afternoon of Premiership Rugby for you.

    Wasps came through a hectic encounter with Leicester to register success in the two opening rounds for the first time since 2011, and that's without their star summer signings.

    Bath gave Newcastle an absolute thumping at the Rec and also maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

    "We’ve got to enjoy coming here and getting a result. There are still things for us to improve on but when that first yellow card came about for us, we were smart.

    "We did stop playing and going through phases for a period. We started to panic and lost a bit of composure. 

    "But being in front is a new experience and it’s all part of the learning experience for these players."

    "At the end I was going to go for goal but I got outvoted by my team.

    "I'm so glad to get the bonus point, and really happy with the way we pushed through and won.

    "Leicester had a strong patch before half time but our driving maul in the second half got us back into the game.

    "We knew the challenges these first two games would bring. To get two wins out of two, we’re delighted."

    Two wins from two to start the Todd Blackadder reign at Bath.

    After a tight opening half an hour where they led 6-0, they ran right in the end with those eight tries.

    Many have tipped Newcastle to be amongst the relegation battle and that was a performance that will strengthen those claims.

    Wasps will be ecstatic with that. Their first victory in eight years at Welford Road.

    Leicester threw everything at them in the second-half but the penalties told and the Tigers ended the game with 13 men.

    Jimmy Gopperth popped up for a try at the end and secured Wasps second win of the season, also denying Leicester their losing bonus point.

    And that's the win all wrapped up. Brilliant decision from Wasps to go for to corner and it's paid off.

    Gopperth pops out from behind and dives over the line for their first victory at Welford Road since 2008.

    Wasps looked to have weathered the storm and Gopperth had the opportunity to put his side more than a score clear. But it's uncharacteristic and he pulls his kick wide of the uprights.
