    Quote Message

It was a tough contest as Saints came here looking to put us under pressure. We couldn't get anything going in the first half and we wanted to up our quality after individual errors. Against the wind we had to play more cleverly in the second half. After the yellow card we got on top.

    Saracens 27-12 Northampton

Northampton think they have scored their first try of the afternoon following a good passing move which stretched the play across to the right flank.

However, referee Greg Garner blows up as the final pass from Ken Pisi to Mikey Hayward was forward.

A correct decision but it looks like Northampton will be denied a losing bonus point.

There's a stoppage in play at Allianz Park as Luther Burrell puts in a massive hit on Brad Barritt.

Burrell is down after taking the full force of Barritt's hip on his jaw in a rather shuddering collision.

A chance for both sides to catch breath as Burrell receives attention from the medics.

    Saracens 24-12 Northampton

Saracens are very much in control now. Alex Lozowski adds another three points from the penalty which Dickinson went to the bin for from right in front of the posts.

I doubt Northampton will be able to salvage anything from this match.
