Let's hope something happens in this half, maybe a try? Is that too much to ask?

    Wales 12-6 South Africa

Taulupe Faletau is coming on in the second-half for Wales to replace the injured Dan Lydiate.

    A brilliant match, this.

Ireland were in control for the most part, but Australia have wriggled their way back into it.

    Dane Haylett-Petty; Bernard Foley (con)

Finally, Australia get off the mark.

Israel Folau sends a beautiful offload into the hands of Dane Haylett-Petty, who touches down underneath the posts.

It leaves Bernard Foley with an easy conversion to end the half.

    Ireland 17-0 Australia

Australia make a brilliant break forward and they've finally made it into the Ireland 22.

Dane Haylett-Petty pings the ball north with his boot, and the Wallabies scramble before being held up.

They earn a scrum in a dangerous position but they lose possession. Ireland go on the counter but Paddy Jackson slices out of play.

Wales will be fairly happy. They seem to be in total control.

South Africa are so scrappy and disjointed. Wales are trying different things but it is not a great spectacle.

    Wales 12-6 South Africa

Wales flanker Dan Lydiate is being stretchered off the field with what looks like a nasty-looking knee injury.

There was no one around him when it happened, he has just turned and twisted it badly.

CONVERTED TRY - Ireland 17-0 Australiapublished at 35 mins

    Garry Ringrose; Paddy Jackson (con)

Wow, what a brilliant dart from Garry Ringrose!

He ducks through bodies and sprints for the line to dab down.

The referee wants to have a look to double check...he says he can't work out how he's scored it!

It's given by the TMO and converted by Paddy Jackson.

You get the feeling these two teams want to see the end of this year?

    Wales 12-6 South Africa

The end of a pretty uneventful half.

Not the greatest 40 minutes of rugby.

Plenty of penalties but I am struggling to recall an actual try scoring opportunity, nope not one.

    Ireland 10-0 Australia

Australia concede a seventh penalty, this time at the scrum, and Ireland kick to touch.

A brilliant maul from Ireland sees the hosts gain some ground.

Conor Murphy eventually off-loads but the Australia defence stand tall, as Ireland throw away possession with a loose ball.

The Wallabies give away yet another penalty, and yet again Ireland go for the kick and line-out.

    Ireland 10-0 Australia

Andrew Trimble, who's been brilliant so far, has some heavy strapping on his ankle and it looks like he's going off. Rob Kearney also hasn't returned from getting a head injury checked out.

So Ireland are two key backs down in the first half. Australia will have Dean Mumm back from the sin-bin very shortly.

South Africa are toothless in attack. They have got nothing about them.

They are not causing the Welsh defence any problems.

    Wales 12-6 South Africa

Wales are just edging possesion, still not much happening in either side's 22.

The Springboks have no direction to their attack, you fancy Wales at this stage.

I don't know much, but I know you should never, ever give Israel Folau space to move. He will mow you down.

The Australia full-back dashes forward with his lightning feet but he is dispossessed and the danger subsides for Ireland.

  20. try

CONVERTED TRY - Ireland 10-0 Australiapublished at 24 mins

    Iain Henderson; Paddy Jackson (con)

A lovely little grubber from Simon Zebo falls to Keith Earls and the Ireland back presents a gorgeous offload to second row Iain Henderson, who darts over.

Paddy Jackson lines up the conversion and it's good.

Ireland have made the extra man count immediately.
