That was really clever play. It was a pre-arranged move to shoot down the blind-side of the line-out.

The Scotland players knew exactly what they were doing.

    Watson

Scotland win a penalty just outside Georgia's 5m line as Mark Bennett is pulled back as he tries to run through onto a chipped kick.

The home side take the line-out option which is won by Richie Gray and the Scots start another one of their mauls. Hamish Watson peels off the back and runs powerfully down the blindside to score.

The flanker is absolutely beaming as he trots back while Greig Laidlaw makes another conversion.

Plenty of talking points in that first-half at Twickenham (which lasted 60 minutes).

The biggest one? Elliot Daly's sending off.

You could see from the Wasps centre's worried face that it wasn't a deliberate tip-tackle, but Leo Senatore did suffer a horrible landing which ended his game.

Finn Harrod: This refereeing performance has been absolutely disgraceful.

Martyn Ullah: Daly deserved sending off, Estelles deserved a yellow, poor refereeing....

Paul Smith: England red was an accident. Not like the all blacks who were trying to injure their opponents

  10. SIN-BIN - Dan Colepublished at 46 mins

    England 16-0 Argentina

We've been in the same field position for about 10 minutes. It's like a game of stuck in the mud.

The Pumas go for another scrum in front of the posts and as they push forward, it's another penalty against England and Dan Cole is sin-binned.

The prop leaves the field with blood coming out of his ear, and England are now down to 13 men.

    Andy Nicol

With the vibrancy, attitude and approach at times that was like a training run for Scotland.

They have been able to go through their patterns and in an international match like this you very rarely get that.

It has been accurate, exciting and has not been the perfect half but not far off it from Scotland.

    England 16-0 Argentina

Billy Vunipola is given a warm round of applause as he leaves the field. He looks gutted.

Argentina have another scrum just metres out from the try line, as we head towards the last play of the half.

England are penalised for offside and the Pumas go for another scrum, right in front of the posts.

"A training ground exercise", that is how former Scotland scrum-half Andy Nicol describes the first 40 minutes for Vern Cotter's side.

That early Georgian try apart, it has been all Scotland in the first-half.

The one glimmer of hope for the visitors is winning nine turnovers, but unfortunately they have not been able to reflect that on the scoreboard.

The Scotland pack have worked really hard to put the backs in good positions.

Vern Cotter will be really pleased with that first half.

    England 16-0 Argentina

England knock-on for the first time and we have our first scrum of the match. It's taken a whole 35 minutes! Remarkable.

The Pumas are on the 5m line and pushing forward, edging inch by inch, but England are surrounding them.

Play is held up because of an injury to Billy Vunipola. He looks in some pain, and is going to be replaced by Teimana Harrison.

Finally some respite for Georgia as Matthew Carley blows his whistle.

Scotland have out-performed the visitors in every single facet and have been clinical in their finishing with four tries.

Hogg was fortunate with the bounce but look how sharp he was, look at his reactions.

    Fortune favours the bold.

  20. try

    Converted try - Scotland 31 - 11 Georgiapublished at 35 mins

    Hogg

    Scotland score their fourth try.

That try was all Stuart Hogg, its architect and finisher.

The full-back chips a kick in the air, which bounces so kindly straight into his arms as he collects and puts the burners on to score. No one was catching him there.

Greig Laidlaw adds another conversion, he can't miss today.
