That wasn't a bad way to end the weekend's Premiership action.

You could argue that all the results went to form, but we had stoppage-time tries, yellow cards and injuries to key players to keep up with.

    Until next time, goodbye.

    Match reaction: Exeter 10-13 Bath

Exeter head coach Rob Baxter told BT Sport: "It was a tough old finish for us really, but I think great credit to Bath - I think they just edged that resilience battle.

"We're in an interesting position now - these games are going to have a different connotation for us now.

"Games that go on one decision are always hard to take, but I don't want to look for excuses, I want to look at ourselves."

  5. 'That's why we love sport'published at 17:12 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

    Match reaction: Exeter 10-13 Bath

Bath director of rugby Todd Blackadder speaking to BT Sport: "I think that's why we love sport, isn't it.

"We had a lot of belief throughout that game - it just shows the commitment and belief within the team.

"I'm just so pleased for the players - to see them grind it out and go through some real 'can't we can we'."

    FT: Exeter 10-13 Bath

Well I was crying out for some drama in that game and boy did it arrive in the end.

The win consolidates Bath's third place in the Premiership, while Exeter are languishing down in seventh.

Remember when Bath came ninth last season, having been runners-up the year before? Maybe Chiefs are going the same way.

    And that's it.

A massive moment from a massive player for Bath.

The Exeter players and fans look crestfallen. Well played Semesa Rokoduguni, you've earned your side four points when it looked very unlikely.

    Exeter 10-13 Bath

Just moments earlier Semesa Rokoduguni would have gone over if the kick out wide was accurate enough, but the Bath winger was not to be denied.

The Fiji-born England international shrugs off Olly Woodburn and Gareth Steenson out wide to go over and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

The clock now reads 85 minutes and we're still playing at Sandy Park.

Bath camped just yards from the try line, the prize is so close, yet they have 15 Exeter men in black putting their bodies on the line.

Who will come out on top? Attack or defence?

    Exeter 10-6 Bath

As you might expect, Bath are applying pressure by the bucket load in search of a last-gasp try to snatch victory from their hosts.

Exeter are giving away penalties galore but are so far holding strong.

When the ball goes out of play it'll all be over.

David Lemi's try and a strong finish by the hosts is nowhere near enough as Bristol crash to their ninth defeat in all competitions this season.

For Sale, that is just their third Premiership win of the season.

    Bristol 13-31 Sale

There is a big roar and David Lemi touches down for Bristol.

Then there is quick conversion from Shane Geraghty, but all of that is just a consolation on what has been another difficult day for the hosts in the Premiership.

Wasps may not have been on the top of their game today but they have ground out a maximum haul of points from their match against Newcastle Falcons.

For the visitors, though, they will be disappointed not to take advantage of an off-colour Wasps.

And we'll all be hoping Marty Moore is OK after that injury in the first half.

Huge cheers for that try for Mitch Lees.

Exeter have been under huge pressure to get a result and if they can hang on this will represent a massive win in their season.

The home side have five minutes to hang on to their slender advantage.

    Wasps 31-6 Newcastle

    Bonus-point try for Wasps!

A sustained spell of pressure from the hosts ends when Jimmy Gopperth touches down for his second try of the afternoon. He has been a revelation for his side this season.

    He converts his own try.

We've waited 70 minutes and it's finally arrived.

A good old-fashioned try which could decide this derby.

Chiefs win the lineout and turn to their driving maul, which takes back-row Mitch Lees over the line.

  19. Penalty (Ford)published at 16:34 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

    Exeter 3-6 Bath

    Talk about holding your nerve!

George Ford hasn't had it all his own way this afternoon, but the Bath fly-half shows his international class to kick a speculative long-range penalty between the posts and put the visitors in front for the first time.

It's not been pretty, but there are 13 minutes for drama to unfold.

What a finely poised final quarter we face here at Sandy Park.

Exeter have had slightly the better of the second half territory, but their one clear cut chance was controversially halted by the referee.

Bath have a four-game winning streak, which they will want to turn into five.
