    Wasps 17-0 Newcastle

Wasps prop Jake Cooper-Woolley, on for the injured Marty Moore, has just spent a lengthy amount of time receiving treatment himself.

Thankfully from everyone's point of view, we don't have another player coming off on a strecther and he is OK to continue.

  2. Postpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

    Bristol 0-0 Sale

We are 10 minutes into the action at Ashton Gate and there is nothing major to report as it remains scoreless.

There have been few positive moments in a somewhat scrappy affair.

There is a head injury assessment for Sale's Magnus Lund and he is replaced by David Seymour

  3. Missed penaltypublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

    Exeter 0-0 Bath

We're still waiting for the first score at a packed out Sandy Park, where Exeter haven't made the most of their early openings.

As you might expect from a derby, the first 10 minutes have been played at a frenetic pace.

Bath are awarded a penalty at the breakdown, but George Ford falls short with his effort - in fairness it's always windy at Sandy Park and the kick was from some way out.

  4. try

Try (Halai, con Gopperth)published at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

    Wasps 17-0 Newcastle

All of a sudden there's no time to breathe in this one!

Straight from the restart Elliot Daly chips the ball forward and Frank Halai bombs down the wing to put the ball down.

Jimmy Gopperth converts and Wasps are in the clear, with Newcastle a man down. We're 20 minutes in.

  5. try

Try (con Gopperth)published at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

    Wasps 10-0 Newcastle

It took some deliberation from the TMO, but Wasps have a penalty try and Newcastle are down to 14 men.

Kyle Eastmond's pass is adjudged to have been deliberately knocked on by Simon Hammersley, and the Falcons man is shown a yellow.

Jimmy Gopperth converts to really punish the visitors.

  6. Kick-offpublished at 15:01 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

    Bristol 0-0 Sale

And action is underway at Ashton Gate.

This is an important one for both sides. Bristol are still chasing their first win of the season in all competitions, while Sale have picked up just one win from their past five games.

  7. Kick-offpublished at 15:01 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

    Exeter 0-0 Bath

The teams ran out to a massive guard of honour and some suitably dramatic music at Sandy Park.

Let's hope the game lives up to that entrance!

Exeter's Irish stalwart Gareth Steenson has got this south-west derby started.

  8. Penalty (Gopperth)published at 14:58 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

    Wasps 3-0 Newcastle

Wasps have finally woken up and have broken the deadlock.

Out of nowhere Rob Miller surges forward for the hosts, making lots of ground, and though the move breaks down, the referee goes back for a penalty which Jimmy Gopperth successfully kicks.

Don't let the time fool you, we've only actually played just over 15 minutes here.

It's a capacity crowd here at Sandy Park for the West Country Derby between Exeter and Bath.

The seventh-placed home side have struggled with results of late, but will hope the form they showed in their narrow loss at Ulster last week will see them win for the first time in more than a month.

It's Todd Blackadder's first visit to Exeter, but his third-placed Bath side are already looking like they are back to their best with seven wins from eight, including four-in-a-row.

    Wasps 0-0 Newcastle

Wasps' Marty Moore has been stretchered off to generous applause from both sets of fans - we wish him well.

The game has now restarted - we've only played around 11 minutes at the Ricoh, can Newcastle pick up from where they left off before the stoppage?

That tweet explains why the match has now been on hold for around eight minutes.

All precautions rightly being taken with this injury.

  12. Postpublished at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

    Wasps 0-0 Newcastle

Nothing to really report here - the clock has been stopped for a few minutes now and it sounds like it could be a pretty bad injury for Marty Moore.

The Wasps' crowd have gone quiet as we wait for the game to restart - Jake Cooper-Wolley will come on for the hosts at prop.

Any momentum Newcastle had has now evaporated, but first and foremost let's hope Moore is OK.

Bristol v Sale Sharks (15:00 GMT)

Gavin Henson in action for BristolImage source, Getty Images

The third of today's fixtures sees Gavin Henson feature for the first time since the season's opening day after recovering from injury and starts at centre for Bristol against Sale Sharks.

The hosts - who have lost all eight of their games in all competitions so far this season - also welcome back wing David Lemi and second row Mark Sorenson, while fly-half Shane Geraghty makes his first start for the club.

Sale centre Johnny Leota returns from his two-game ban for his dangerous tackle in the game at Bath.

There has also been a late change on Sale's bench, with Sam Bedlow replacing Mark Jennings.

Bristol: Williams; Edwards, Hurrell, Henson, Lemi; Geraghty, Cliff; Traynor, Brooker, Perenise, Phillips, Sorenson, Eadie, Fisher, Crane (capt).

Replacements: Hawkins, Tonga'uiha, Cortes, Evans, Glynn, Lam, Williams, Tovey.

Sale Sharks: Haley; McGuigan, Addison, Leota, Odogwu; James, Stringer; Harrison, Briggs, Aulika, Evans, Ostrikov, Neild, Lund, Beaumont (capt).

Replacements: Lewis-Roberts, Mujati, Mills, Seymour, T Curry, Phillips, Mugford, Bedlow.

    Wasps 0-0 Newcastle

Not only have Newcastle been quickest out of the blocks - the hosts have actually been pretty scrappy in possession.

The BBC Coventry & Warwickshire commentary team (you can listen above) have described the match as being "littered with errors" so far - I would tend to agree with them.

There's now a break in play as Wasps' prop Marty Moore receives treatment.

    Exeter v Bath (15:00 GMT )

The featured game today is Bath's trip to face Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park (15:00 GMT).

Exeter make just one change from the side which narrowly lost at Ulster in the Champions Cup last week - Julian Salvi, out after hurting his bicep in that game, makes way for former Australia forward Dave Dennis.

Meanwhile, Bath eight changes from the side that beat Bristol in the Challenge Cup - five of which are fowards, with Ross Batty and Henry Thomas among those to come in.

Exeter: Turner; Woodburn, Whitten, Slade, Short; Steenson (capt), Lewis; Low, Yeandle, Williams, Lees, Parling, Dennis, Horstmann, Waldrom.

Replacements: Taione, Rimmer, Francis, Hill, White, Maunder, Hill, Devoto.

Bath: Homer; Rokoduguni, Joseph, Banahan, Brew; Ford (co-capt), Fotuali'i; Auterac, Batty, Thomas, Charteris, Attwood, Garvey (co-capt), Ellis, Ewels.

Replacements: Dunn, Lahiff, Palma-Newport, Stooke, Mercer, Homer, Priestland, Williams.

    Wasps 0-0 Newcastle

Falcons have had the better of the opening five minutes here, putting lots of pressure on and making a couple big hits.

They've just managed to turnover their hosts at the scrum - it's fair to say the visitors mean business, and certainly aren't going to roll over.

    Wasps 0-0 Newcastle

Better late than never - we're now underway.

On the face of it, a reasonably comfortable Wasps victory this afternoon, but Newcastle have performed better than expected so far this season.

The players are only just coming out at the Ricoh Arena, so we're running a bit late.

Wasps will be in their traditional black and yellow, Newcastle in their changed orange strip.
