    Sale 0-3 Saracens

Saracens' Director of Rugby Mark McCall will be happy with his side so far.

Sale are on the attack again and they're been driven back by the Sarries defence, before being forced into a grubber kick.

Sarries need to do more with the ball in hand now, they've looked slightly laborious going forward.

    Sale 0-3 Saracens

Sale get off lucky this time but Saracens are starting to take control of this game.

A lot of early penalties from the two sides as Sale's attack takes them into the Saracens half.

Good clean possession here, into the sixth phase but the move breaks down with another handling error.

Sale need to be more patient against this Saracens defence.

    Sale 0-3 Saracens

The Saracens pack is causing all sorts of problems here. Another good drive moves them up into the Sale half before an absolutely brilliant piece of skill from Alex Lozowski.

He chips over into the space before gathering the ball one-handed and sets off towards the try line.

Saracens can't recycle the ball, however, and after a clumsy knock-on, we go back to the penalty for offside.

    Sale 0-3 Saracens

Good controlled play from Sale as Alan MacGinty's kick goes deep into the corner and Saracens' line-out must deliver once again.

But a better take this time and Saracens win a penalty from the drive.

    Sale 0-3 Saracens

The first points of the day go to Saracens courtesy of the boot of Alex Lozowski as Sale are penalised for not releasing at the breakdown.

A good start from the visitors with minimal effort.

    Sale 0-0 Saracens

Sale are putting Saracens under pressure from the outset.

They disrupt the Sarries line-out on their own five-metre line but there's an early error from Will Addison who knocks on and gives Saracens easy field position.

And the ball is collected well by the awaiting Saracens pack.

Richard Wigglesworth puts up a testing high kick but Sale will have the first attack of the afternoon.

Premiership champions Saracens have lost just one of their last ten league encounters with Sale and have only lost one of their last 14 Premiership games.

But with Sarries without their England contingent, today could be a good opportunity for the full-strength Sharks to come out on top.

And the last time Sale tasted defeat at the AJ Bell Stadium in any competition was when Harlequins were the visitors last April.
