Wasps gain the free kick off the reset scrum and Nathan Hughes decides to take route one. Off the quick ball  Dan Robson finds replacement fly-half Jimmy Gopperth and he spots that Newcastle have left him a gap to waltz through.

Gopperth converts his own try against his former club and the visitors are back in front.

It's also a fourth try which means they get the one bonus-point needed to replace Saracens at the Premiership summit. They'll want all five mind.

Falcons have played some very good rugby.

When Wasps get the ball and concentrate they're so dangerous on the outside.

Wasps' defence is not as good as it should be and there's a lot for Dai Young to talk about at half-time.

Wasps put together phase after phase tiring out Newcastle's defence before Thomas Young spots a hole that has his name on it. The final try of the half is exactly the way that he would have wanted to mark his 50th appearance for Wasps.

Danny Cipriani adds the conversion and there's just a point in it as both teams head into the changing rooms for a breather!
