    Bath 3-0 Exeter

Rokoduguni breaks clears and forced his way to the Exeter line - did he ground it? Was there a knock-on??

If you're in the stadium, you've just seen a remarkable break and run there by Semesa Rokoduguni. A great high catch and then he was away for the line.

  2. Missed penaltypublished at 23 mins

    Bath 3-0 Exeter

Exeter win a penalty inside the Bath half after the home forwards fail to roll away. Gareth Steenson sizes it up from 44 metres, but his kick just drifts wide.

  3. Attwood breaks freepublished at 20 mins

    Bath 3-0 Exeter

Bath's England forward Dave Attwood breaks through the Exeter defensive line and the Rec gets to its feet. Chiefs' backs do well to bring him down and Exeter are able to clear. But right now you feel that Bath are the side looking more likely to score here.

It's a great three points and you've got to take the points in these tight games. George Ford held his nerve there as the kick went in off the post.

  5. Penalty (Ford)published at 18 mins

    Bath 3-0 Exeter

George Ford puts the ball over from 24 metres out, but only just as it clips off the right-hand upright and over. But they all count.........

Both teams want to play and when they've both had ball in hand, they've been adventurous. Despite there being no score so far, I think we're in for a good game here.

  8. Exeter having their saypublished at 12 mins

    Bath 0-0 Exeter

Entertaining passage of play from Exeter, although they will be kicking themselves after the failed to take in a lineout eight metres from the Bath try-line. Chiefs have had the better of the past few minutes and have won a scrum right in the middle of the Bath half.

  9. Chiefs keeping Bath at baypublished at 5 mins

Bath have had all the possession so far, but Exeter's defence has been very sturdy and the home side have failed to get into the Chiefs' defensive third.

  10. Bath get stuck in earlypublished at 2 mins

    Bath 0-0 Exeter

Bath take advantage of an Exeter handling error and immediately put pressure on the Chiefs, getting within five metres. Exeter survive, but Bath lay down their intentions early. Scrum to Chiefs deep in their own territory.

Bath's George Ford kicks us off. Could that be his last kick off before we find out his future at the Rec?

These two met in Premiership action as recently as the end of October.

Semesa Rokoduguni's stoppage-time try snatched the win for Bath in a low-scoring encounter at Sandy Park.

The England international went over in the sixth minute of added time, after Mitch Lees thought he had won the game for Exeter with a late try of his own.

Since then, Exeter have won all four of their past Premiership fixtures.

Leicester centre Manu Tuilagi is included alongside Maro Itoje, James Haskell, Anthony Watson and Jack Nowell, who all return after missing the autumn internationals through injury.

Bath prop Nathan Catt will have an extra spring in his step at the Rec this afternoon as he celebrates a first call-up.

Saracens pair Mako and Billy Vunipola miss the camp because of injury, while Wasps second row Joe Launchbury is also not fit.

Good afternoon and welcome to BBC Sport's final Premiership rugby live text commentary for 2016.

It's been a great year for English rugby (it could hardly have got worse after 2015 could it?!), and we end with what could be a cracking West Country derby as third-placed Bath host fourth-placed Exeter.
