    Wales 15-9 Ireland

'DISCIPLINE!' is the shout from someone at the breakdown. A penalty now could be the nail in the coffin for Ireland and they know it.

Can they get the ball down the other end in time?

    Wales 15-9 Ireland

Wales will take as much time as they can now, no they're going to kick it. They make a better job of it than they managed against England though, good distance and height on that.

Ireland have it but they are right back near their own 22 now and the clock is not their friend....

Matthew Reilly:  Ireland beginning to look like one-trick ponies tonight. Either that or Wales defending like they've got 15 Johnny Grays.

Andrew Priestley:  Iain Henderson has made an unbelievable impact to this game. He has almost single-handedly wrestled Ireland back into this.

Nigel Hoskins:  Wales really struggling now. Legs look heavy. Cant get out of their own half.

    Wales 15-9 Ireland

Jamie Roberts celebrates as an Irish pass doesn't go to hand and it's a penalty to Wales! Is that the game?

Five minutes now left, Welsh possession.

That's what you get with Peter O'Mahony.

He is the best back-row jumper in Europe, and against Tipuric who's another.

Ireland have a great opportunity now with a five-metre scrum.

Just six minutes of action left, 360 seconds worth of distance run. It's still in the balance, Wales were in a similar position against England remember...

Ben Dunbar:  Think Wayne Barnes had got that decision absolutely spot on. Henshaw didn't join that maul properly and cost Ireland a try.

Paul England:  Is it me or are 6 nations games under lights the best games of the tournament?

John Blenkharn:  High intensity by both teams but the skill execution under pressure is really poor by normally consistent players.

    Bit harsh...?

A scrum now, Wales have replaced their entire front row but it's Ireland who emerge with the ball. A crossfield kick spirals into the hands of Simon Zebo, Johnny Sexton then drills a crossfield kick the other way and he can't quite connect with Keith Earls.

On such fine margins are matches won and lost. It was a huge call from referee Wayne Barnes as we tick into the final 10 minutes.

Still Ireland have the momentum, the possession, but they do not have the lead.

On the bench replaced Wales scrum-half Rhys Webb can't watch.

I think Wayne Barnes has a point.

Robbie Henshaw has to bind over the guy at the back of the ball.

If he had put an arm over Rory Best as he went into the maul it might have been OK.

I think it might be a penalty.

A huge call from Wayne Barnes! Ireland were driving the ball forwards for the line, a try looked all but certain but the referee pings Robbie Henshaw for coming in in front of the ball carrier Rory Best.

That will be a large talking point....

Irish ball, mauling forwards ominously. Relentless rugby from both sides, Leigh Halfpenny does more sweeping on his own line but he's pulled into touch.

Irish line-out within spitting distance of the try line.

  17. 'Wales need that buffer'published at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2017

    Jonathan Davies

You just feel that Wales need that buffer.

They need a drop-goal or penalty to give them some breathing space.

Ireland are throwing everything at them!

    Wales 15-9 Ireland

Wales are camped a few yards from their own try line, trying to buy some space to clear.

Dan Biggar's kick is then half charged down and Ireland almost gather it in! It was Keith Earls who nearly pouched that.

Coach Joe Schmidt has his head in hands as Wales send on Dr. Seenitanddoneit Jamie Roberts.

Scrum-half Rhys Webb is also off, they are ringing the changes now.

Excellent covering defence from Leigh Halfpenny to sweep up a kick forwards as we enter the final 15. Ireland need two penalties to draw level remember.

    Wales 15-9 Ireland

Leigh Halfpenny with a semi-break on the right wing but he is wrapped up by Simon Zebo before he can find partner in crime George North. No hat-trick just yet for the big man. Ireland then turn the ball over and go again from deep, good open field running from Keith Earls.
