  2. Tigers tamedpublished at 53 mins

    Leicester 0-38 Glasgow

Warriors are just not letting up here.

Finn Russell breaks through and is bearing down on the Leicester 22. He has options outside him but his pass is behind the support runners and the chance is gone.

A rare chance passed up by the visitors.

  3. TRY! Leicester 0-38 Glasgowpublished at 48 mins

    Ryan Wilson, Finn Russell (con)

Leicester suffered their record defeat in European competition earlier this season, a 38-0 hammering by Munster at Thomond Park. If they don't buck up their ideas here and quickly then that record will be blown out of the water.

Tigers are completely bamboozled by a Glasgow lineout routine on the home 22m line. Warriors dummy to the front, dummy to the back and the lineout parts like the red sea for Ryan Wilson to claim the throw and gallop through the middle.

Glasgow batter the Leicester line for several phases, Zander Fagerson goes close before Wilson arrives to plough over.

A dream night for Glasgow but nightmare stuff for Leicester.

  8. 'Best ever half from a Scottish team'published at 18:26 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2017

    HT: Leicester 0-31 Glasgow

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

"That is the best half of rugby I have ever seen from a Scottish team my whole life. Glasgow have dominated the breakdown and the contact area, and Ali Price and Finn Russell have managed the game exceptionally well. Alex Dunbar, Mark Bennett and the back three have all been a threat, Props Gordon Reid and Zander Fagerson have been outstanding, Tim Swinson has made 12 carries, Jonny Gray has been brilliant as well. It'll be the easiest half-time team-talk Gregor Townsend has had. He will just be telling them ' Keep playing the same way in the second half'."

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:15 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2017

    Leicester 0-31 Glasgow

We were expecting a tight war of attrition. Instead we have been treated to a Glasgow Warriors masterclass.

They have played with power and pace, attacked with variety and imagination, have been utterly dominant and ruthlessly clinical.

They have crossed the try-line four times in the opening period through Tommy Seymour, a penalty try, Mark Bennett and Jonny Gray.

Surely their place in the quarter-finals is assured?

This is almost the perfect performance from Glasgow in the first half.

  13. TRY! Leicester 0-31 Glasgowpublished at 36 mins

    Jonny Gray, Finn Russell (con)

    This is an annihilation.

Glasgow get quick ball off the top of the lineout on the Leicester 22m and Alex Dunbar crashes up in midfield.

The excellent Lee Jones takes a short pass around the fringes from Ali Price and wriggles his arms free from the tackle to find Jonny Gray running a great support line to coast over for his first try of the season.

Bonus point in the bag and it's not even half-time. Glasgow are heading into the last eight.

  14. TRY! Leicester 0-24 Glasgowpublished at 30 mins

    Mark Bennett, Finn Russell (con)

    Glasgow at their very best.

Gordon Reid punches a hole in the defence and then Finn Russell makes a half-break which gets Leicester back-peddling.

Josh Strauss carries well, Lee Jones sucks in a couple of men before off-loading and then Ryan Wilson slips a lovely pass to Mark Bennett who dives over in the corner.

Finn Russell nails the touchline conversion and Warriors fans are already dreaming of the quarter-finals.

  15. 'Leicester are being humiliated'published at 18:03 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2017

    Leicester 0-17 Glasgow

    Tom English
BBC Sport Scotland at Welford Road

There has to be a time in this match when the Tigers get up a head of steam and ask some questions. They're being humiliated right now in front of their own people. Surely there's some kind of response.

Huge groans go up around Welford Road after Burns misses two penalties in two minutes. Another try for Glasgow and this is done.

  16. Luckless Leicesterpublished at 26 mins

    Leicester 0-17 Glasgow

Tigers are just unable to find a way into this match.

Glasgow are penalised for holding in the tackle and Freddie Burns has a shot at goal that fades just wide of the post.

Moments later he is afforded another chance from the tee, but he snatches at it once again and puts the kick off target.

  18. TRY! Leicester 0-17 Glasgowpublished at 23 mins

    Penalty try, Finn Russell (con)

Glasgow are really turning the screw now.

From a 5m lineout the pack drive for the try-line and when the maul comes to a halt the referee feels it is due to an infringement from the Leicester forwards and awards a penalty try.

It seemed a little soft but it looked like Glasgow would have crossed the line anyway.

Gregor Townsend's men are in a terrific position to go on and seal a quarter-final place here.

  19. YELLOW CARD LEICESTERpublished at 21 mins

    Mathew Tait

Nothing going right for Leicester at the moment.

Warriors are back on the front foot again and they spread the ball wide to Lee Jones on the left wing. He chips ahead but is blocked by Matthew Tait. The referee deems it was foul play and sends Tait for a 10-minute spell in the sin bin.

Glasgow 10 points and a man up.

  20. Russell rusty with the bootpublished at 19 mins

    Leicester 0-10 Glasgow

Glasgow are all over Leicester right now. They are playing at a tempo that the Tigers are struggling to deal with.

The home defence stray offside and allow Finn Russell another straightforward shot at goal but the Scotland fly-half slices his effort wide.
