  1. try

Try (Hopper)published at 21:17 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Bristol 8-32 Harlequins

On review Matthew Carley is happy with the score and that means that Matt Hopper's five-pointer stands.

Harlequins have the bonus-point in the bag and this is looking like a really tough ask for hosts with 20 minutes to go.

  2. Yellow card (Palma-Newport)published at 21:17 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Bath 22-16 Northampton

Saints suddenly on the offensive having been starved of ball for the first 20 of the second half. They win two penalties at the breakdown, the second is kickable but Stephen Myler opts for the corner. It's a great maul from the hosts, Bath infringe and Kane Palmer-Newport is sent to the sin-bin.

But oh goodness, Paul Grant comes up with a line-out steal and Bath can clear. Storm weathered for now.

  3. Try reviewpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Bristol 8-27 Harlequins

    Phew!!

Bristol's Alby Mathewson looks for the tap and go but his pass is intercepted by Joe Marchant. The speedster heads up the field, finds his team mates and referee Matthew Carley is now heading to the TMO.

  4. Sin-bin (Visser)published at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Bristol 8-27 Harlequins

It looks like Bristol are going to get their nose back into this match with a score but it's a professional foul from Tim Visserand he heads off the field for 10 minutes.

  5. try

Try (Mulchrone, con Jackson)published at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Bristol 8-27 Harlequins

It's Dave Ward who makes the break for Harlequins and he finds Charlie Mulchrone to score the visitors' third try of the evening.

Ruaridh Jackson adds the conversion and that extends the visitors' lead nicely.

  6. 'Bristol scrapping'published at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Bristol 8-20 Harlequins

    Ross McMillan
Bristol hooker on BBC Radio Bristol

It's a real tight battle out there and Bristol are just scrapping for everything at the moment.

  7. try

Try (Foden, con Myler)published at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Bath 22-16 Northampton

Well, Northampton right back in the game with a nice score. Tom Homer's kick to touch on the full gave Northampton a line-out 30 yards from goal.

The Bath defence is initially excellent but Saints persist, Jamie Gibson carries to within 10 yards and they work the left-touchline to send Ben Foden over.

The conversion from Stephen Myler is a beauty from wide out.

  8. Half-timepublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Sale 18-12 Newcastle

Topsy turvy half in which Falcons started on fire with Juan Pablo Socino's try from a Joel Hodgson penalty miss.

Sale nudged themselves back into the game with a brace of Will Addison penalties before Vereniki Goneva showed pace and power to score a second try for the visitors.

Goneva was then sin-binned and with a man advantage, Sale powered their way into the lead thanks to tries from Denny Solomona and Byron McGuigan. Big 40 to come at the AJ Bell.

  9. Postpublished at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Bath 22-9 Northampton

Rhys Priestland tries to prove he's more than an ersatz replacement for George Ford with a well-judged chip over the Northampton midfield, the bounce finds that man Ben Tapuai again but his hopeful pass inside doesn't find a blue shirt.

Harry Davies then finds space on the left-wing and his kick forward forces Ben Foden into careful defence on his own line to ensure a 22 drop-out.

  10. try

Try (McGuigan)published at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Sale Sharks 18-12 Newcastle

Sale go close through Denny Solomona again but when he is cut down, Byron McGuigan picks and goes for the Sharks second try.

Game edging the way of the Sharks as half-way beckons.

  11. Postpublished at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Sale 13-12 Newcastle

More danger from Sale as Denny Solomona is shepherded out into touch by the Falcons drifting defence. Crucial intervention.

Newcastle still down to 14 with Vereniki Goneva in the sin-bin.

    Penalty advantage with the Sharks...

  12. Coming up...published at 21:02 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

  13. Postpublished at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Bath 22-9 Northampton

Superb break yet again from Ben Tapuai sees Bath stream towards the Saints' 22 again. Nafi Tuitavake makes a try-saving tackle and Tapuai takes a serious-looking knock.

He's okay though, much to the relief of the Bath fans. Tapuai is having a great night so far.

  14. try

Try (Solomona, con Addison)published at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Sale 13-12 Newcastle

If at first you don't succeed...

Sale find their prolific try-scoring winger Denny Solomona with a looping pass from a scrum play and the former Castleford man saunters through for the sixth try in Sharks colours.

Will Addison's conversion gives the hosts the lead for the first time.

  15. try

Try (Reddish, con Jackson)published at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Bristol 8-20 Harlequins

In a carbon copy of the first half Harlequins take early control of the scoreboard.

Mark Reddish drives over from close range and with Ruaridh Jackson's conversion their lead looks a lot healthier than it did just two minutes ago.

  16. No trypublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Sale 6-12 Newcastle

Halani Aulika got the ball down but there was an infringement in the build up and Sale will get a penalty instead.

    Let-off for Falcons.

  17. Sin-bin (Goneva)published at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Sale 6-12 Newcastle

Best and worst of Vereniki Goneva in the space of a few minutes, brilliant try followed up by a bizarre 'slide-tackle' attempt that belongs at Old Trafford rather than the AJ Bell.

Gets a 10-minute spell in the bin for his troubles. Falcons down to 14.

  18. Kick-offpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Bristol 8-13 Harlequins

We're back under way at Ashton Gate and Bristol will need to manage the opening 10 minutes of this second half with 14 men after Ryan Bevington's sin-bin just before the break.

  19. Penalty (Priestland)published at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Bath 22-9 Northampton

Bath restore their 13-point lead immediately. The move began with a wonderfully delicate grubber from Ben Tapuai and a smart one-handed flick to Harry Davies. Bath power towards the posts where Northampton go offside.

Another gimmee for Rhys Pristland is this time fired into the hospitality boxes.

  20. Kick-offpublished at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Bath 19-9 Northampton

Rhys Priestland gets us back underway with the home side now playing towards the cricket ground.
