Worcester may have a 21-point lead with the clock ticking, but director of rugby Gary Gold won't be counting his chickens yet.

The visitors are getting some joy, and Gavin Henson kicks his latest penalty to touch deep in the Warriors half.

This venture forward needs to end with some points for Bristol.

The opening exchanges of the second half have seen numerous scrums and several penalties awarded to either side.

Warriors look to spread the play and build a try-scoring chance, but Bristol's defence seems to be a bit stronger than before the interval.

Marco Mama looks particularly menacing for the hosts with ball in hand.

The action has restarted at Sixways and the picture is quite clear.

Bristol, realistically, have 40 minutes to save their Premiership status.

Mark Tainton is not messing around, making two changes - Tusi Pisi is on for Will Hurrell and Jamal Ford-Robinson replaces Gaston Cortes.

    FT: Newcastle 27-35 Saracens

The final play of the game earns great applause from the Kingston Park faithful.

Vereniki Goneva uses his power to try and manufacture a try, which would've brought both a losing bonus point and four-try bonus for Falcons.

Much like the overall result though, Newcastle come up just short - though they pushed Saracens reasonably close in the end.

Falcons keep running the ball and Saracens continue to give away penalties with the clock past 80 minutes.

The visitors have the victory but can Newcastle pick up a valuable bonus point at the death?

It's certainly been a strong finish from them.

Many predicted that this relegation battle would be all about the kicking, and Bristol are probably hoping it had been that way.

Worcester have four tries and the bonus point in the bag, which looks like moving them seven points clear of bottom side Bristol in the Premiership table.

The visitors have a long, long way to come back from this.

Warriors have the bonus-point try before the interval.

Bryce Heem, who earlier spent 10 minutes in the sin-bin, collects a pass from the excellent Francois Hougaard and shows great finishing ability to get the ball over the try-line.

Ryan Mills converts and the hosts are in real command now.

Billy Vunipola's afternoon is over. The England man is repalced by Mark Flanagan in the 72nd minute.

The England man has put in a good shift today, and could be back in Eddie Jones' Six Nations squad before long.

What will be going through the mind of Bristol's interim head coach Mark Tainton?

His side have been playing catch-up since the very first minute and are now two converted tries behind, approaching half time.

If it stays like this Worcester will open up a six-point gap over their opponents in the table.

    Newcastle 13-35 Saracens

Saracens are making sure of victory at Kingston Park.

More poor passing from Newcastle gave the hosts problems, and Nathan Earle finishes off a passing move after a line break by Brad Barritt.

Saracens have been clinical with their chances this afternoon.

Alex Lozowksi can't add the conversion from out wide on the right.

A third try of the afternoon for the hosts, who have their pack to thank for creating the opportunity.

From a five-metre lineout, the massive Will Spencer crashes and bundles his way over after good build-up play from Joe Taufete'e and Bryce Heem.

Ryan Mills, continuing despite pain in his right leg, kicks the conversion.

    Newcastle 13-30 Saracens

Saracens have their fourth try of the day and a valuable bonus point.

It's another interception try as Alex Lozowski slips into the Newcastle line - while remaining onside - and plucks Joel Hodgson's loose pass out of the air to cross the Falcons line.

Lozowski adds the conversion to his second try, and Saracens are in firm control.

A quarter of an hour remains.
