    A rout. Power, precision, points.

The champions absolutely blew a Bath side away in that second half to send out an ominous message to the rest of the league with eight tries.

The biggest defeat for Bath in the Premiership for 15 years, what does that do for their top four hopes?

As Bath try and put the squeeze on at the scrum, the concede a penalty.

    Time for another, Saracens?

A second for Chris Ashton , an eighth for Saracens.

Again the Bath defence is nowhere to be seen as the wideman cruises in and is able to do another dive over the line - how much of a loss will he be when he moves to Toulon?

50 up for the champions who are being so clinical.

  7. try

Try (B Vunipola, con Farrell)published at 74 mins

    Saracens 46-10 Bath

    Bath have downed tools here.

Saracens are being at their most ruthless but they are being helped by a weakening and tiring defence.

A quick tap and go from a penalty and Billy Vunipola gets a seventh try from close range - an easy conversion for Owen Farrell.

  8. try

    Saracens 39-10 Bath

The 'Ash Splash' is back as Chris Ashton takes a chest pass from Schalk Brits out wide and has time to line up a big jump for the line.

This is turning into a bit of a thumping for Bath who have now conceded six tries.

A blood stained Owen Farrell slots a superb conversion from the touchline.

    Saracens 32-10 Bath

Bath are trying to run the ball whenever they can but the Saracens defence is so good they're not having much joy.

Both teams unloading their benches to try and bring some fresh impetus into the game.

    Wasps 40-33 Worcester

I make that 11 tries, a red card and a yellow - a quite fabulous match.

That was much more of a contest than many were expecting, but it is Wasps who open up that five-point lea at the top of the Premiership again.

Try (Willison, con Mills)published at 16:32 British Summer Time 26 March 2017

    Wasps 40-33 Worcester

You've got to give it to Warriors, who have played most of the second half with 14 men and managed to salvage two points away at the leaders.

Jackson Willison scores a try with the last play of the game and Ryan Mills bisects the posts to get the losing bonus point as well as the point for scoring four tries.

With a tiring Bath defence, Saracens are breaking the line at will now.

A bit of smart handling works out to Brad Barritt on the right wing and the Saracens captain shrugs of the attentions of Matt Banahan to score.

Owen Farrell has to tape his head up because of the blood coming from it before his head and is unable to slot the conversion.

    Wasps 40-26 Worcester

...And Warriors have a much-deserved bonus point try.

It's not going to be enough to salvage anything, with just three minutes to go, but prop Biyi Alo dashes over from short range to score.

Ryan Mills successfully kicks the conversion for the visitors.

    Saracens 27-10 Bath

I did say their driving maul was a thing of beauty right? (see 52 mins)

Saracens as clinical as ever from five metres out with a line-out, set the maul and replacement hooker Schalk Brits crosses for what seems the inevitable score and secure a try bonus point.

He's all smiles as Owen Farrell slots another kick. Bath need something magical to get back into this game now.

  16. try

Try (Macken)published at 16:24 British Summer Time 26 March 2017

    Wasps 40-19 Worcester

It's taken a while for the extra man to count, but Wasps are now feeding off every Warriors mistake.

Ryan Mills has his kick chased down and Kurtley Beale feeds Brendan Macken to score a try.

    Saracens 20-10 Bath

Back-row forwards are rightly praised for their jackling work but Bath scrum-half Kahn Fotuali'i gets in a brilliant position just as Saracens were getting up some steam close to their line.

A couple of replacements made and Bath eventually kick out of their territory through George Ford.

    Saracens 20-10 Bath

Rugby is not considered a beautiful sport to many, but to me, the Saracens driving maul is a thing of beauty. Powerful, well drilled and it seems to always make metres.

Eventually Luke Chateris does enough to stop it though and Bath have themselves a scrum just inside the Saracens half.

  19. try

Try (Bassett, con Gopperth)published at 16:16 British Summer Time 26 March 2017

    Wasps 33-19 Worcester

The officials took rather a long time to give it the green light, but Josh Bassett is finally awarded the try for Wasps.

After some expert handling, Bassett reaches out to squeeze his way over the line for his side's fifth try of the game.

Jimmy Gopperth kicks to add another two points and the leaders are heading towards victory.

George Ford had a couple of wobbly moments in the first half, especially from the tee, but a couple of masterful kicks get Bath deep into Sarries territory.

Can he get this Bath backline firing? We haven't seen much of them today so far.
