  1. Who has got Lions quality?published at 15:07 British Summer Time 1 April 2017

    Leinster v Wasps (15:15 BST)

It's a question we are all wondering, and one which Warren Gatland has the final say on.

Our team down at the Aviva - Sonja McLaughlan and James Burridge - chucked their two-penneth in earlier, particularly focusing on the men hoping to impress Gatland today.

They aren't thinking of the Lions. They can't be. If they are then they've lost the plot. They can think about it tomorrow.

Leinster senior coach Stuart Lancaster:  "If you are a Lions coach you would certainly be looking at games like these where you have a Daly and a Ringrose, Joe Launchbury and Toner - the list goes on.

"All these games leading into final selection for the Lions will have a part to play because of the quality of players on show."

    Leinster v Wasps (15:15 BST)

Nope, you've not tuned into a BBC Nature special text commentary. Lions-watch refers to one thing and one thing only: the summer tour to New Zealand.

    So who's in the mixer?

In Ireland fly-half Jonathan Sexton, Leinster have the likely No 10, while team-mates Garry Ringrose, Sean O'Brien and Devin Toner will be looking to press their case today.

Wasps also have Lions hopefuls in Elliot Daly, Danny Cipriani, James Haskell and Joe Launchbury.

    Time to shine.

And not only is the chatter at the Aviva Stadium centering around the Champions Cup, there is also plenty about something quite important going on in the summer...

Not only can you follow the game by sticking with my (hopefully wise) words, you can also listen to what my radio colleagues in Dublin are saying.

Sonja McLaughlan is presenting the live coverage on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra, with James Burridge and former Ireland wing Denis Hickie providing the commentary and expert analysis.

Hello! And welcome to our live coverage of the opening Champions Cup quarter-final.

In the blue corner, we have got Leinster.

The Pro 12 leaders, three-time European champions, a huge chunk of the Ireland side which wrecked England's Grand Slam dream.

In the black and yellow corner, we have Wasps.

The Premiership leaders, two-time European champions, an all-star cast which has more X Factor than Matt Cardle, Alexandra Burke and Little Mix combined.

Sometimes sporting events are often over-hyped.

Meetings of slightly-above average sides are labelled unmissable. Mismatches are portrayed as being too close to call. Money-spinners between a couple of has-beens are billed as significant

Players and coaches are guilty of doing it. Fans are guilty of doing it. The media is guilty of doing it.

But sometimes the facts do the talking...
