    Bath 20-21 Leicester

With seconds over 10 minutes to go, it looks as if Leicester will have to make do with 14 men for the remainder of the game.

The Tigers wing attempts to steal the ball from a pass but knocks in on, and with two Bath players outside him he is sent to the bin.

Anthony Watson will have his name on the score sheet but this is all made by Taulupe Faletau.

He hits an exquisite line off a delayed Jonathan Joseph pass, powers through a defender as he steps once, then draws a defender and sets Watson in to score an easy try.

George Ford again on target from the tee and just one point in this now.

Midway through the first half, and Henry Slade reduces the arrears with Exeter's first penalty.

That is an easy three points for the hosts. Will it have a calming influence on the hosts now?

Some heavy looking legs on the pitch now and some stretching from one or two to try and prevent cramp.

Leicester still enjoying more territory in the Bath half.

Another intercept and another try for Bristol! What on earth is happening at Sandy Park? Incredible scenes as the Premiership's bottom side now lead high-flying hosts Exeter 17-7 after 12 minutes.

The intercept was made in Bristol's 22 and Jason Woodward was off like a shot to cross under the posts.

Francois Louw at his brilliant best in defence as the Bath captain reads Ellis Genge's attempted line, hits him and drives him back a good few metres.

A minute later Taulupe Faletau wins a turnover penalty and the hosts at Twickenham seem suddenly rejuvenated again.

  10. Penalty (Henson)published at 15:27 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Exeter 7-10 Bristol

Bristol were down after 70 seconds and are now ahead for the first time after 10 minutes.

Although they're leading, it has been a while since Leicester had been deep in Bath territory.

A couple of good carries gets them over the gain line and then Freddie Burns goes for a chip over the top which never looked like causing too much danger.

  12. Postpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Bath 13-18 Leicester

Referee JP Doyle speaks to both captains about the amount of penalties that are happening when it comes to scrum time.

His message? Next time one of you is penalised, you'll be spending 10 minutes in the sin bin.

    Oh. My. Word!

Talk about an action-packed opening few minutes. Bristol hit back and are level.

From an Exeter line-out, Will Hurrell intercepts a Henry Slade pass and bolts about 50 metres to touchdown under the posts on four minutes.

    Gavin Henson converts.

Olly Woodburn even too quick for our stat. 8 in 17 now for the Chiefs wing.

There are a fair few names in this list who are English qualified, but no matter how impressive their feats they are not considered regulars in the Eddie Jones set-up.

With the Lions on tour this summer, England go on a two Test tour to Argentina where some of these names could possible feature.

  15. try

Try (Woodburn, con Slade)published at 15:19 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Exeter 7-0 Bristol

What an incredible start at Sandy Park, as Olly Woodburn goes over for the host inside the opening 70 seconds.

Ian Whitten made the initial break down the left and he find Woodburn in support.

And there were probably thousands who missed that try because of the huge traffic delay today.

  16. Penalty (Ford)published at 15:16 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

Missed a kick on the stroke of the break but George Ford is deadly accurate with this one, straight through the posts.

The game is back to within a one try score for the Blue, Black and Whites.

Right, moving attention beyond London's borders for the first time today as action gets under way at Sandy Park.

An important match for both Exeter at the top of the table and Bristol at the very bottom.

As you'd expect from two teams going at it for top four there has been some niggle throughout the game. And some hits.

Bath get a penalty from a scrum and point towards the posts.
