    Liam Williams intercepts.

Is there space for Anthony Watson to burst downfield?

Not quite. But the Lions recycle and boot up to halfway.

The All Blacks should be streets clear, but they have left a clutch of try-scoring chances out there.

Can the Lions weather the storm and keep within range? Could this be the reemergence of the All Black choke? Or are the world champions just clearing their throat before the full blast?

The pace of this game is off-the-charts quick, and the Lions need to slow it down.

A good set-piece would help with that, but ominously the All Blacks got a nudge on at the scrum to force one against the head.

Good response from the Lions pack to force a crucial penalty at the next one.

Trouble up mill in the scrum.

The Lions lose one against the head as the All Blacks get a secondary shove on.

Panic stations for the tourists, space aplenty for the Kiwis.

Beauden Barrett knocks on though as he darts towards a hole.

    A let-off.

  6. Warburton using superhuman strengthpublished at 09:01 British Summer Time 8 July 2017

Sam Warburton has been living up to his reputation as the one of the world’s best breakdown operators, either by using his superhuman strength to get over the ball, or by clattering into rucks allowing others to effect turnovers.

The early penalty against him could easily have gone the other way.

The Lions’ ruck efficiency when in possession has been good. They’re committing just enough players to clear out the ruck, and deliver the ball on a plate to Conor Murray, as evidenced in that heart-stopping, multi-phase attack that was just undone by the interception pass.

The All Blacks reclaim a canny short kick-off with Jordie Barrett's extra height again proving key as he slaps back over the top of Maro Itoje.

Julian Savea get clear down the left wing. He leaves Liam Williams as roadkill in his wake, but is stopped 10m short.

Sam Cane knocks on in the face of a fast-advancing Lions defence to let the pressure dissipate.

The England centre gives it the trademark T-1000 stare at the sticks and drills straight through the uprights.

The hosts' lead is cut to four.

After all the pre-match build-up, hype and nerves, this game is fully delivering on every front. So intense. So physical. Such quality!

Beauden Barrett - one of the best players in the world - misses in front of goal after three minutes and then Julian Savea, who has the best try scoring record in international rugby, misses a gilt-edged opportunity for New Zealand. Don't tell me even the best players don't feel nerves!

It has been end to end rugby and just as the Lions looked to finish off some good attacking rugby, an interception by Jordie Barrett on his five-metre line saw New Zealand almost go the length!

They finally scored a few minutes later, a well worked try from Ngani Laumape, and this is rugby brilliance!

Got any questions for Ugo? He'll be doing a Facebook Live at the end of the match on the BBC Sport Facebook page.

A simply breathtaking passage of rugby ends with a sublime All Blacks score, minutes after the Lions looked odds-on to cross.

Jordie Barrett may have thrown a poor pass in the opening stages of his first start, but that was a touch of class from the younger Barrett to field his brother's cross-kick and combine with another rookie in Luamape.

Beauden has started like a train as he looks to assert his influence on this series once and for all.

    Ngani Laumape (con B Barrett)

A try that was born in the Barrett's backyard.

Jordie Barrett calls for the crossfield kick from brother Beauden and, when it comes, it is perfectly weighted bomb.

Six-foot-five Jordie swats down the kick high above Elliot Daly and Ngani Laumape is perfectly position to hoover up and dive over.

Under the pump early on, the Lions needed a stable scrum after that bad All Blacks miss, and they just about managed it, giving Conor Murray a chance to clear.

The scrum has been fairly evenly matched over the series - now would be an ideal time for the Lions to assert some dominance in that area.
