It's fifth against third at the Rec tonight, so this could mean a lot in terms of the play-off tussle.

Wasps could find themselves as many as nine points clear of their opponents with victory, though if Bath pick up maximum points they may overtake their visitors.

    Plenty to play for.

Hello and welcome to BBC Sport's live coverage of Bath v Wasps in the Premiership.

One of the festive season's tastiest fixtures pits two sides who have top four aspirations against one another - let's hope it proves to be a post-Christmas cracker.

It also represents the start of the second half of the season - when these two sides met in October Bath spoiled Wasps' 150th anniversary celebrations with a hard-fought 25-9 win at the Ricoh Arena as Semesa Rokoduguni got the only try in a game dominated by the boots of Rhys Priestland, Freddie Burns and Jimmy Gopperth.
