    Newcastle 25-3 Exeter

Exeter must've been rubbing their hands together at the sight of their two nearest rivals playing each other - surely it was a chance to further extend their 10-point lead at the top?

But Newcastle have had none of it, a controversial Sinoti Sinoti try - featuring a forward pass - plus scores from Vereniki Goneva and Kyle Cooper have Falcons in what seems like complete control.

Can anyone see a way back for the leaders?

Michael Rhodes ghosts off a pass to break up the right wing but he mistimes the pass inside that would have freed Richard Wigglesworth to score.

No bother, to the other wing they go, Billy Vunipola bashes his way almost to the line and a simple pass inside puts Schalk Burger over.

Owen Farrell's kicking is about the only thing going wrong for Saracens as he misses again, this a pretty straightforward attempt too.

    Sinoti Sinoti (23 mins)

Controversy in the north-east but Newcastle have the first try.

They turn over the ball but the pass to try-scorer Sinoti Sinoti looks blatantly forward.

It's not seen however and the try counts - however they miss the conversion
