We paid them the respect they deserved and we really wanted that one. We have learnt more about ourselves this year than any other year and it's so pleasing to go through a rough patch but come together as a group - but this one means a lot.

Let's not forget today's runners-up, who have been very gracious in defeat.

They won the Premiership title against all the odds last season and have followed it up by finishing top of the table and reaching another final.

Exeter look very capable of distinguishing themselves as one of England's rugby giants.

That was our best performance in a final because of the opposition. The first 30 minutes we didn't touch the ball and our defence was incredible. We kept them away from our 22 and it was a huge effort from everybody.

Former Lions and England scrum-half on BBC Radio 5 live

Saracens have some world class players and today they have turned up, they have been efficient and precise.

I don't care how Exeter could have played today but if Saracens are going to play like then I can't see anyone beating them in the league, they were simply too good.

They have such consistancy on and off the pitch, they have a great academy with good English players and their fans are consistent too.

All in all they thoroughly deserve the run they are on.

Exeter may have started strongly but it's all about how you finish.

Four tries to one tells the story - Saracens are worthy Premiership champions.

It's their fourth title, preventing Exeter from gaining back-to-back titles.

Owen Farrell is watching on nervously from the bench as his team-mates prepare for a scrum.

Exeter need two scores to change the result of this match, and I'm not sure they have it in them.
