  1. Glasgow maintain winning runpublished at 20:47 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    FT: Cheetahs 24-52 Glasgow

Glasgow started last season with 10 straight league wins, and a similar run looks on the card this term.

Next Saturday they face the weakest South African team, Southern Kings, in Port Elizabeth, before returning home to face Dragons and Zebre before the start of their Champions Cup campaign.

So that could quite easily be six out of six in the Pro14. The only downside tonight was a potentially serious injury to Scotland tight-head prop Zander Fagerson, who was taken off on a stretcher with his leg in a splint.

We'll leave it there. Thanks for your company tonight. Until the next time...

Ali Price was very busy, very effective, scored a couple of good tries. He fell behind post-Six Nations last season and has a lot of competition now with George Horne having such a terrific season last year and Nick Frisby coming in. But we know what Price is capable of - he is a very fine rugby player.

Glasgow were very clinical. They used the extra man to their advantage and made it pay. They looked after ball and tries came - that's what they didn't do in the first half.

  4. 'Glasgow looked fitter'published at 20:33 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

You win by 50 points, you're going to be pleased, but it was the manner of how they won as well. They looked fitter, they looked more used to the altitude than Cheetahs.

Teams will start to view Adam Hastings as a threat and that for me is when he's got to start producing the goods, when he's playing against full-strength Irish provinces and in Europe.

Real positives, scrum-halves vying for positions, Huw Jones back from injury, Tommy Seymour finding a bit of form. You've still got Stuart Hogg to come back into the squad. Dave Rennie will be pretty happy.

  5. Full-time - Cheetahs 24-52 Glasgowpublished at 20:24 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

So after an error-strewn first half where they seemed intent on undoing all their good work, Glasgow have won with some comfort in the end.

That's three wins out of three, top of Conference A, another bonus point in the bag, and the prospect of another against the other, weaker, South African team, Southern Kings, next Saturday.

    Job done.

  6. converted try

Converted try - Cheetahs 24-52 Glasgowpublished at 76 mins

    George Horne

Maybe it's not quite done. Glasgow gather a turnover, and a few passes later - Jonny Gray, Callum Gibbins and the latest replacement, Nick Frisby - the predatory George Horne is scampering over in the left corner.

Adam Hastings converts from wide out to maintain his perfect record.

This game is done now. Both teams know it. It's time to kick back and then go for a beer.

  8. converted try

Converted try - Cheetahs 24-45 Glasgowpublished at 64 mins

    Callum Gibbins

Callum Gibbins has his try now. Replacement hooker George Turner with a lovely one-handed pick-up, and he sends his skipper charging over.

Adam Hastings makes it seven out of seven with the conversion..

  9. Penalty - Cheetahs 24-38 Glasgowpublished at 62 mins

    Adam Hastings

They may not have got the benefit of the doubt with that try, but Glasgow are quickly back on the scoreboard via three points from the boot of Adam Hastings. Father Gavin would approve...

  10. No try - Glasgowpublished at 60 mins

    Cheetahs 24-35 Glasgow

Have Glasgow got a sixth try here? Callum Gibbins goes to ground, but is not tackled and picks up to dot down. But the TMO disallows it for crossing, as Gibbins appeared to go into one of his own players.

  11. Jones returns for Warriorspublished at 57 mins

    Cheetahs 24-35 Glasgow

Glasgow make a couple of changes. George Horne takes over at scrum-half from Ali Price, who can be pleased with his evening's work.

And Scotland centre Huw Jones makes his comeback after wrist surgery, Alex Dunbar making way.

  12. try

Try - Cheetahs 24-35 Glasgowpublished at 55 mins

    Malcolm Jaer

There didn't seem to be much threat there to the Warriors' defence but two short passes puts Malcolm Jaer away down the left and there's no catching the Cheetahs' full-back from there.

Tian Schoeman misses the conversion but Cheetahs have a bonus point for their fourth try. That's nine in all...so far.

  13. converted try

Converted try - Cheetahs 19-35 Glasgowpublished at 51 mins

    DTH Van der Merwe

Glasgow are motoring now, and that's their fifth try in the bag. Good patient build-up, and Peter Horne's lovely floated pass sees DTH Van der Merwe - Warriors' all-time top try-scorer - racing in to dot down his 48th for the club.

Adam Hastings maintains his 100% record from the tee with his fifth successful conversion.

  14. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Cheetahs 19-28 Glasgow

Glasgow collect the restart and Alex Allan delivers a lovely show-and-go before bounding off on another charging run.

One for the loose-head prop's highlights reel.

  15. Conversion - Cheetahs 19-28 Glasgowpublished at 19:47 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

Adam Hastings holds his nerve to land the extras despite the long delay, and the scoreline has a far rosier look from a Warriors perspective now.

  16. Injury concern for Fagersonpublished at 19:46 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Cheetahs 19-26 Glasgow

There's a delay here and it's not good news for Glasgow - or Scotland - fans as tight-head prop Zander Fagerson is being helped onto a cart.

Not sure what the injury is. Darcy Rae is on in his place.

  17. try

Try - Cheetahs 19-26 Glasgowpublished at 44 mins

    Ali Price

What a turnaround. The Cheetahs - who lost full-back Malcolm Jaer to the sin-bin inside the first minute of the second half - are breached again.

Glasgow go through around 10 phases and replacement prop Alex Allan makes the final burst before offloading to scrum-half Ali Price, who collects his second try.

That's Glasgow's fourth, so they've got a bonus point in the bag at least.

  18. converted try

Converted try - Cheetahs 19-21 Glasgowpublished at 42 mins

    Tommy Seymour

Great start to the second half for Glasgow. Tommy Seymour chases a kick-through and dabs it down.

Adam Hastings slots the conversion and suddenly Warriors are in front.

Cheetahs want to attack and they don't mind where they attack from. They have scored a couple of tries off turnovers, from sloppy play from Glasgow. They look a confident side, feeding off Glasgow's mistakes. Warriors have had a lot of possession, but they are making life difficult for themselves. But if they look after the ball, the can still win this game. But can they look after the ball?
