  1. Glasgow maintain winning run

    Glasgow started last season with 10 straight league wins, and a similar run looks on the card this term.

    Next Saturday they face the weakest South African team, Southern Kings, in Port Elizabeth, before returning home to face Dragons and Zebre before the start of their Champions Cup campaign.

    So that could quite easily be six out of six in the Pro14. The only downside tonight was a potentially serious injury to Scotland tight-head prop Zander Fagerson, who was taken off on a stretcher with his leg in a splint.

    Ali Price was very busy, very effective, scored a couple of good tries. He fell behind post-Six Nations last season and has a lot of competition now with George Horne having such a terrific season last year and Nick Frisby coming in. But we know what Price is capable of - he is a very fine rugby player.

    Glasgow were very clinical. They used the extra man to their advantage and made it pay. They looked after ball and tries came - that's what they didn't do in the first half.

    You win by 50 points, you're going to be pleased, but it was the manner of how they won as well. They looked fitter, they looked more used to the altitude than Cheetahs.

    Teams will start to view Adam Hastings as a threat and that for me is when he's got to start producing the goods, when he's playing against full-strength Irish provinces and in Europe.

    Real positives, scrum-halves vying for positions, Huw Jones back from injury, Tommy Seymour finding a bit of form. You've still got Stuart Hogg to come back into the squad. Dave Rennie will be pretty happy.

    So after an error-strewn first half where they seemed intent on undoing all their good work, Glasgow have won with some comfort in the end.

    That's three wins out of three, top of Conference A, another bonus point in the bag, and the prospect of another against the other, weaker, South African team, Southern Kings, next Saturday.

    There didn't seem to be much threat there to the Warriors' defence but two short passes puts Malcolm Jaer away down the left and there's no catching the Cheetahs' full-back from there.

    Tian Schoeman misses the conversion but Cheetahs have a bonus point for their fourth try. That's nine in all...so far.

    Glasgow are motoring now, and that's their fifth try in the bag. Good patient build-up, and Peter Horne's lovely floated pass sees DTH Van der Merwe - Warriors' all-time top try-scorer - racing in to dot down his 48th for the club.

    Adam Hastings maintains his 100% record from the tee with his fifth successful conversion.

    Glasgow collect the restart and Alex Allan delivers a lovely show-and-go before bounding off on another charging run.

    One for the loose-head prop's highlights reel.

    Adam Hastings holds his nerve to land the extras despite the long delay, and the scoreline has a far rosier look from a Warriors perspective now.

    There's a delay here and it's not good news for Glasgow - or Scotland - fans as tight-head prop Zander Fagerson is being helped onto a cart.

    What a turnaround. The Cheetahs - who lost full-back Malcolm Jaer to the sin-bin inside the first minute of the second half - are breached again.

    Glasgow go through around 10 phases and replacement prop Alex Allan makes the final burst before offloading to scrum-half Ali Price, who collects his second try.

    That's Glasgow's fourth, so they've got a bonus point in the bag at least.
