    HT: Cheetahs 19-14 Glasgow

This early try from Glasgow fly-half Adam Hastings put the visitors on the front foot, but there have been four more scores since then - three of them for Cheetahs.

  2. Half-time - Cheetahs 19-14 Glasgowpublished at 19:19 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

Chance for Warriors just before half-time, with a scrum in a central position in the Cheetahs half. But Adam Hastings' short pass is coughed up by Peter Horne, giving the hosts a chance to clear their lines.

Referee Frank Murphy brings a breathless first half to a close.

  3. 'Big let-off for Glasgow'published at 19:13 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

Big let-off for Glasgow there. Cheetahs didn't execute a simple two-on-one. It all came from a line-out that went wrong and they broke up the field.

    Cheetahs 19-14 Glasgow

Deary me, the Cheetahs look like they'll score every time they break into the Glasgow half. This time the final pass eludes wing Sibhale Maxwane, and that must count as a missed opportunity for the hosts.

  5. Glasgow bench 'will be crucial'published at 19:10 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

It's been a funny half. Glasgow have looked good with ball in hand and then a couple of easy turnovers have resulted in soft tries.

Glasgow are having to work really hard to get their own yards now. The bench and fitness levels are going to be crucial.

    Cheetahs 19-14 Glasgow

These two teams shared seven tries on Glasgow's last visit last October, when the Warriors emerged with a 29-26 victory.

The rate they've started this game, you wouldn't be surprised if they surpassed that tally tonight.

  7. 'All Cheetahs' tries have been pretty soft'published at 19:08 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Cheetahs 19-14 Glasgow

Kenny Murray, the Warriors' defence coach will not be happy. They defended so well but then lost their shape.

You think Glasgow had extinguished the threat, defending really well, and it's just one missed tackle. Schoeman goes through and he's good enough to off-load out of Jonny Gray's tackle.

All three Cheetahs tries have been pretty soft.

    Nico Lee

That's five tries inside the opening half-hour. This is a breathless, loose game in Bloemfontein. Cheetahs centre Nico Lee shows great pace to motor onto an offload, through Rob Harley's tackle and away from the remaining cover.

    Tian Schoeman converts.

    Ali Price

Moments after Tommy Seymour is held up just short, the Warriors work another move from a penalty. Ali Price feeds Rob Harley and the stalwart flanker offloads off the floor back into the hands of the grateful scrum-half, who who scuttles through for a try on his comeback.

    Adam Hastings adds the extras.

    Cheetahs 12-7 Glasgow

    Tom English
    BBC Scotland's chief sports writer

On top of conceding two tries and and losing Alex Dunbar to the bin, Glasgow have turned it over six times in the opening 20 minutes. Against a side like the Cheetahs, who want to run from anywhere and everywhere, that’s a very bad idea. This game is wide open and a touch mad

    Cheetahs 12-7 Glasgow

Glasgow win a penalty just inside the Cheetahs half and Adam Hastings kicks to touch. Chance to manufacture something here...the Warriors win the line-out, Hastings dabs it through and Ruaridh Jackson can't quite reach it ahead of the cover.

But the referee brings it back for another Glasgow penalty.

  12. No try - Cheetahspublished at 18:55 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Cheetahs 12-7 Glasgow

Glasgow struggling to contain the Cheetahs here.

Left wing Sibhale Maxwane kicks ahead and Malcolm Jaer is first to it, but under pressure from Tommy Seymour's tackle, the full-back's pass to Maxwane is forward and the try won't stand.

Big let-off for Warriors. Can they re-impose themselves on this game?

    Cheetahs 12-7 Glasgow

More danger for Warriors but Tommy Seymour gets back in the nick of time to dive on a kick ahead into the Warriors in-goal area.

  14. Sin-bin - Alex Dunbarpublished at 13 mins

    Cheetahs 12-7 Glasgow

A bright start has gone a bit pear-shaped for Warriors here. Scotland centre Alex Dunbar, back in the side for his first start of the season, is shown a yellow card for a high tackle.

I don't like to say it, but Warriors really need to tighten up here.

Converted try - Cheetahs 12-7 Glasgowpublished at 12 mins

    Malcolm Jaer

Brilliant try from the Cheetahs, after winning a turnover at the breakdown. Ryno Eksteen, an early replacement, beats two Glasgow tackles in midfield an a cross-kick finds full-back Malcolm Jaer in acres of space to touch down, with no-one at home for Warriors.

Fly-half Tian Schoeman adds the conversion from wide out.

Try - Cheetahs 5-7 Glasgowpublished at 8 mins

    William Small-Smith

A beautiful grubber kick through from Janse van Rensburg to the right corner and wing William Small-Smith looks to have touched down in the right corner.

It's referred to the TMO, who confirms the score.

Glasgow making progress in the Cheetahs half, threatening another score. But Alex Dunbar's offload out of a tackle is picked off by a Cheetahs defender.

    Adam Hastings try & con

Barely 70 seconds on the clock, and the Warriors have their first try. Far too easy from a Cheetahs perspective, as the young fly-half - son of Gavin - strolls through a couple of flimsy tackles.

Hastings adds the conversion to boot. Great start from the visitors.
