Try - Dragons 15-23 Cardiff Bluespublished at 64 mins

    Owen Lane

Two tries in a matter of minutes as the Blues turn the game of its head courtesy of Owen Lane's second try of the game - he loves playing at Rodney Parade.

Gareth Anscombe, who's break set up the try, makes no mistake this time with the conversion.

Rodney Parade is quiet for the first time this evening.

  10. try

Try - Dragons 15-16 Cardiff Bluespublished at 61 mins

    Kristian Dacey

The Blues take the lead for the first time. The forwards drive into the corner and it is the hooker Kristian Davey who gets the ball down among a whole heap of players.

Anscombe misses the conversion so the Blues take the most slender of leads as we pass the hour mark at Rodney Parade.

    Jordan Williams

The Dragons strike straight back through Jordan Williams and restore their four-point lead. The crowd raise their voices once more, an exciting last 20 minutes lies ahead.

  20. Back-row battlepublished at 18:08 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Dragons 12-5 Cardiff Blues

    Gareth Griffiths
BBC Sport Wales at Rodney Parade

Much was made before hand of the back-row battle between home trio Aaron Wainwright, Ross Moriarty and Ollie Griffiths against Josh Navidi, Ellis Jenkins and Nick Williams.

The one individual shining in the first-half, especially at the breakdown, was Ollie Griffiths as he slowed Blues ball down and was winning penalties.

Another one who will be on Warren Gatland's radar.
