Johnny McNicholl's try came slightly against the run of play as the Ospreys were looking to get on top. The boot of Sam Davies has put the visitors in promising positions but so far they have been unable to get any points on the board.

Johnny McNicholl has scored the first try of derby day as the Scarlets take the lead. Former Ospreys centre Kieron Fonotia got over the gain line before passing inside to McNicholl who broke a tackle to go over for the game's first try. Leigh Halfpenny successfully converts.
