  1. Glasgow inviting pressurepublished at 21 mins

    Munster 7-0 Glasgow

    Andy Burke
    BBC Sport Scotland

Glasgow need to bring the error count under control if they are to stay in this game. Their kicking has been loose, their passing wayward and they are struggling to break out of their own territory.

Munster are in control and Keith Earls in particular looks dangerous.

The next score is crucial. If Warriors are to get it they first need to find a way to exit from their own 22.

  2. Munster playing the elements to perfectionpublished at 20 mins

    Munster 7-0 Glasgow Warriors

Former Scotland sevens captain on Radio Scotland

Munster are giving a textbook performances of playing into the wind, they're not letting Glasgow out of their own 22.

  3. Fagerson flexing his musclespublished at 19 mins

    Munster 7-0 Glasgow Warriors

You don't see CJ Stander get levelled too often, but young Matt Fagerson has stuck the hulking number eight on his backside.

He's overdone it with the dump tackle, though, taking the big South African slightly beyond the horizontal plane, and gets penalised.

Munster send it into the corner again. But once more, Glasgow win turnover and the scrum.

  4. Glasgow living dangerouslypublished at 17 mins

    Munster 7-0 Glasgow Warriors

The scrum wheels, crumbles at the front and the ball is surrendered. Glasgow scramble it back, but Pete Horne is charged down on his own line.

The ball flies out for a 22m drop-out and Warriors can relieve the pressure.

  5. Warriors taking water againpublished at 15 mins

    Munster 7-0 Glasgow Warriors

After a 5m line-out, Glasgow try to run the ball out from under their own sticks. Ruaridh Jackson just about escapes one tackle, but then he slips, and he's pounced on by the Munster defenders.

The home side have the scrum 5m out.

I dare say there will be worse scraps on Sauchiehall Street this evening - it is Hallowe'en weekend after all - but a little glimpse of the early off-the-ball skirmishes here.

  7. Chaos reigns...published at 13 mins

    Munster 7-0 Glasgow Warriors

The late, great Bill McLaren would probably call this passage of play "harem-scarem rugby".

In short, it's a bit bonkers. Sam Johnson drops the ball. Munster race away and look like they could be in again. Then Earls throws an interception pass. Scott Cummings flings out a wild scoop of a ball under pressure and Oli Kebble fumbles it.

The upshot? Scrum Munster on the Glasgow 10m line.

  8. 'It was coming'published at 12 mins

    Munster 7-0 Glasgow Warriors

    Colin Gregor
Former Scotland sevens captain on Radio Scotland

You could sense it was coming. Glasgow defend the initial maul reasonably well but Munster just keep coming and when they are that close to the line they just need to fall over it.

It all comes from Glasgow losing their own line-out on the Munster 22. That's how ruthless they can be.

  9. try

    James Cronin

Munster flex their muscles. Glasgow did a decent job of halting the maul, but the hosts continued to generate momentum with their powerful one-off carries.

James Cronin the loose-head prop thunders his way over the whitewash.

    JJ Hanrahan adds the extras.

  10. Earls on the rampagepublished at 8 mins

    Munster 0-0 Glasgow Warriors

Some set-piece stramashing as Glasgow win a penalty, then lose the line-out, and Keith Earls cleaves open their midfield defence.

The winger sears deep into the 22 and Munster bludgeon away at the visitors' line.

They have to settle for a penalty as Scott Cummings enters a ruck from the side. And they kick it to the corner...

  11. Cool heads key for Warriorspublished at 6 mins

    Munster 0-0 Glasgow Warriors

    Colin Gregor
Former Scotland sevens captain on Radio Scotland

Glasgow can't rise to the needle, the cheap shots. They need to maintain discipline and not let Munster get into their heads.

  12. Or not...published at 5 mins

    Munster 0-0 Glasgow Warriors

A roar goes up as Dan Jones reverses the penalty, apparently for a push from a Glasgow player.

Munster punt downfield and launch a set-piece rumble of their own. Glasgow do well to cocoon the ball, though, and win a scrum.

Already, tempers are becoming frayed around the contact area. A lot of niggly stuff.

  13. Glasgow on the attackpublished at 4 mins

    Munster 0-0 Glasgow Warriors

Munster clear towards halfway, Glasgow have the line-out and a chance to attack.

Barrelling charge from Sam Johnson, then a handling error out wide.

Back we come for a Glasgow penalty on the Munster 10m line.

  14. Put your handbags away...published at 2 mins

    Munster 0-0 Glasgow Warriors

We did warn you these games are often feisty...

Not 90 seconds into proceedings, Rory Hughes and Peter O'Mahony are engaging in a spot of Greco-Roman wrestling some 60 yards away from play.

Everyone goes cantering across, there's a lot of pushing and shoving, and referee Dan Jones separates the bruisers.

A word with both captains from the young Welsh official suffices...

  15. Postpublished at 1 min

    Munster 0-0 Glasgow Warriors

Glasgow gather JJ Hanrahan's kick-off and after a few phases in possession, Pete Horne hoofs downfield.

Munster boot it back, but Ruaridh Jackson's excellent stab down the touchline bobbles out and the hosts have a line-out on their own 22.

  17. Glasgow's margin for errorpublished at 17:14 British Summer Time 27 October 2018

    Munster v Glasgow (17:15)

    Andy Burke
    BBC Sport Scotland

Munster versus Glasgow has been a fiery affair in recent years, but today represents a chance for several fringe players to stake a claim on both sides.

That being said, Munster boast seven players selected for Ireland's autumn Test squad so this will be a huge challenge for Glasgow.

Having won five of their opening six Pro14 matches, picking up five try-bonus points along the way, the reality is Warriors can afford to lose this one. That won't have entered Dave Rennie's thinking, though.

Munster, having won three from six, are more in need of some league points on the board.

  18. 'It's a fantastic opportunity for Stewart'published at 17:14 British Summer Time 27 October 2018

Former Scotland sevens captain on Radio Scotland

I had the joy of coaching Grant Stewart, making his first Glasgow start, at club level. He's quick off the mark, got a great sidestep, he loves an off-load. But first and foremost, hit your man in the line-out, win your scrum ball.

If you're going to have any joy at Thomond Park, you have to win your set-piece ball and keep possession. It's a fantastic opportunity for the hooker.

  19. Can Munster motor?published at 17:10 British Summer Time 27 October 2018

    Munster v Glasgow Warriors (17:15)

It's been a bit of an odd start to the season for Munster.

As you'd imagine, they've been excellent at home and are unbeaten in Europe.

Still, 15 points from six Pro14 matches is a pretty ordinary return for a team with so much quality. This is a game they will expect to win.

  20. 'We'll learn more about some of our boys'published at 17:06 British Summer Time 27 October 2018

    Munster v Glasgow Warriors (17:15)

Glasgow Warriors head coach Dave Rennie on BBC Radio Scotland: "They're a quality side as you've seen over the last couple of weeks in Europe. They're unbeaten and have often been formidable here. It's exciting.

"We've got really good depth. To play in this sort of arena in such a quality side, we'll learn more about some of our boys and they'll learn more about themselves."
