    Wales 21-3 Tonga

Dan Biggar is a little optimistic with his diagonal kick looking for Liam Williams. Too cute.

But Wales claim it at the line-out and can counter now, Tomos Williams, to Biggar and then Williams again, before the red shirts scramble back.

The hosts bring in Steff Evans on the other flank, and keep it moving through hands, only for Wyn Jones to knock on.

It'll be brought back for a penalty - off-the-ball hit on Aaron Wainwright.

Burrowing through is the right word, he was like a caterpillar there.

But there is just a tiny knock-on, I think that is a little unlucky there, Dan Biggar has got away with one there, they had to give it a forensic examination.

    Nope.

No luck for Tonga. There was a knock on somewhere beneath those bodies.

    Wales 21-3 Tonga

Tonga gain some good ground for the first time in this Test, ruck after ruck drawing in Welsh defenders five metres from their own line.

Then they whip it right, with Alaska Taufa cutting inside and taking it at pace on a nice line. Siale Piutau picks up out the back of the ruck and dives in between a huddle of bodies to ground.

This is going to the TMO....

  5. Jonah Holmes has started wellpublished at 14:48 Greenwich Mean Time 17 November 2018

A fine start for Jonah Holmes, his handling has been good and it was a key contribution for the third try. Wales are rampant.

Well we wondered whether a much-changed Wales would make a slow start but there has been nothing of the kind. Three well-worked tries against a stunned Tongan side culminating in a brilliant finish by Liam Williams. Superb stuff.

Jonah Holmes looking comfortable in a Wales shirt with a smart take from a high Tongan boot.

But Dan Biggar sticks his crossfield kick straight into touch, first blemish on his card today.

The improvement in that area has been good for rugby and that is an exceptional bit of play. It is brilliant support play and beautiful give and take. A great try.

Converted try - Wales 21-3 Tongapublished at 11 mins

    Liam Williams (11 mins)

Good footwork from Steff Evans as the winger goes dancing inside between a pair of red shirts.

Evans takes it on again in the centre of the field and is backed up Tomos Wiliams, then Aaron Wainwright - great stuff.

Wales swing it right for Liam Williams... the winger's body is out of play as he sails through the air towards the line, and touches down, just! Superb finish.

Cracking conversion from Dan Biggar to back up a wonderful try.

  11. Penalty - Wales 14-3 Tongapublished at 9 mins

    Sonatane Takulua (9 mins)

Well, Wales stick two early tries on the board but are pulled up for a bit of ill-discipline in their own half and that gives Sonatane Takulua a chance to get Tonga off the mark.

No mistake, splitting the sticks. Electric start at the Principality.

  12. Fantastic contact from Owen Watkinpublished at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 17 November 2018

    Sam Warburton

That was a fantastic tackle from Owen Watkin, you see him do that all the time for the Ospreys. It is such an easy way to turnover possession

It is another bright bit of play from Adam Wainwright, but it all comes from that turnover. What a start for Wales, they are so full of confidence.

    Ruthless!

Lovely exchange between Dan Biggar and Aaron Wainwright as the flanker draws in two would-be tacklers and slips a neat little offload back into the path of Biggar for the fly half to crash over from close range.

    Wales are cruising.

    Biggar adds the extras.

A really good trundle from Wales and a great start for them, but I feel for Seb Davies because that looked like it was going to be his try.

    Penalty try

    And they're over!

Plenty of Tongan bodies underneath the ball after the Welsh rolling maul goes to ground over the line, but it's a penalty try.

Perfect start for Wales. Not what Tonga needed.

    Wales 0-0 Tonga

Wales in their changed strip today with Tonga sporting red shirts and white shorts.

Wales get an early penalty and stick it deep into touch to tee up a line-out. Catch and drive. Good early pressure from the hosts.
