    After a shaky start Exeter deservedly lead this game.

    With Saracens skipper Brad Barritt going off earlier on it looks like the home side are in the ascendancy.

    But as Exeter found out early on, if you give Sarries just a sniff of a chance it can prove costly - this game is poised on a knife edge with 40 minutes to go.

    You can visibly see the Chiefs players perk up after a difficult start - this could be an intriguing final 15 minutes of the half.

    Exeter made a meal of their line-out, attempting a front peel.

    But as Saracens look to clear their lines, Sam Skinner charges down Ben Spencer's clearing box-kick.

    Luke Cowan-Dickie - only playing because captain Jack Yeandle is sick - grabs the loose ball and touches down.

    Gareth Steenson adds the extras from out wide and Chiefs have the lead just after the midway point of the first half.

    In the end the ball is run out into touch, but Chiefs had an advantage. They go for the corner rather than kick at goal.

    In the meantime, Saracens skipper Brad Barritt has gone off for a blood replacement.
