After a shaky start Exeter deservedly lead this game.

With Saracens skipper Brad Barritt going off earlier on it looks like the home side are in the ascendancy.

But as Exeter found out early on, if you give Sarries just a sniff of a chance it can prove costly - this game is poised on a knife edge with 40 minutes to go.

It all started so well for Bristol but Sale came into the game after George Smith's yellow card and are in control at the break thanks to Denny Solomona's try and three Rob du Preez penalties.

A third Rob du Preez penalty on the stroke of half-time gives Sale an 11-point lead after Bristol are adjudged to have taken out Josh Beaumont at the line-out.

That try has lifted the roof off Sandy Park - Exeter’s first real foray into Saracens territory ending in a score.

You can visibly see the Chiefs players perk up after a difficult start - this could be an intriguing final 15 minutes of the half.
