We had a good win last weekend and talked all week about backing it up. We knew what Leicester would bring. We had to keep playing quickly and keep punching holes. Eventually it told at the end.

Bath win the line-out but can't make anything of it as their driving maul splits into two.

Tigers look to turn over the ball and Cooper Vuna decides enough is enough, as he kicks the ball out.

But victory takes Todd Blackadder's side up to fifth in the table, as they end 2018 with back-to-back victories.

    Bath 23-16 Leicester

The ball is loose, then there is a Leicester offside.

Bath could still go for the try bonus point. Or will they just kill the game?

In the end, Leicester win a scrum penalty, and George Ford kicks up to around the Bath 10 metre line.

Good defensive work from Semesa Rokoduguni forces a knock-on from the Tigers.

That might be enough to see the hosts home.

    George Ford

It was central, a few yards in front of halfway and Ford makes no mistake.

A converted try in it, can the Tigers get an unlikely draw with three minutes left?

It's all over at Ashton Gate and what a way to see out 2018 for Bristol.

A bonus-point win for the Bears courtesy of that late drama and despite taking a losing bonus point, Newcastle will stay bottom of the pile.

    Bath 20-10 Leicester

Playing with advantage following a decent spell on the attack, George Ford kicks through looking for Jonny May to run onto the ball.

But this time there is too much on his grubber kick, and May can't get there before the ball runs out of play.

We'll go back for the penalty, with Ford placing the ball on the tee on the angle.

My word, who writes the scripts for this Bristol side?!

A fourth try and most likely the decisive one in more ways than one goes to debutant winger Tom Pincus.

In the left corner, he finishes it off after concerted pressure and then Callum Sheedy adds the conversion from that touchline.

Bonus point in the bag for the Bears with just two minutes to go. Can they hang on for the win?
