  2. 'Composure and heart' wins the day for Glasgow - Renniepublished at 19:31 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    FT: Glasgow Warriors 29-20 Scarlets

Glasgow head coach Dave Rennie tells BBC Radio Scotland: "The red card probably galvanised us.

"We needed to hang on to the ball for long periods and we were really composed. That composure and heart was rewarded with the penalties we forced.

"I'm really proud of the guys. We've got good pressure on the guys coming back in and some of the guys playing tonight will be rewarded. We're creating depth and competition and that's important, it means some big decisions on Monday (for the team to face Lyon).

On the red card for Alex Allan...

"If you catch someone high with your shoulder you bring the TMO into the game," says Rennie. "As long they are consistent, I'm okay with that. It's an area of the game that needs to be tidied up, so we need to be tough."

The Scotstoun crowd are unbelievable. This must be what it sounds like before a riot breaks out. They were just shouting and banging all night and that really lifts the team. As a player, it gives you that extra boost

  5. Will Scarlets be back at Scotstoun for the play-offs?published at 19:15 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    FT: Glasgow Warriors 29-20 Scarlets

Glasgow lead Conference A by seven points from Munster after 10 matches.

Incidentally, that's the first game this season in which Dave Rennie's side have not picked up a bonus point. Not that they will be remotely bothered by that.

Scarlets are now level on points with Ulster but stay second in Conference B, a whopping 15 points adrift of champions Leinster.

Are these two on course for another semi-final meeting?

That's a massive victory for Glasgow, making a statement with a team missing so many internationals. That will give the entire squad such a lift

    Brandon Thomson

A massive cheer from the Scotstoun crowd as Scarlets are penalised for holding on to long on their own 22.

Brandon Thomson is cool as a deep frozen cucumber as he nails the kick.

That should be that, shouldn't it?

    Clayton Blommetjies

The home side eat up ground and time as they rumble forward in the opposition half but Scarlets hit back hard to win it and are suddenly galloping forward with good work from Sam Hidalgo-Clyne and Rhys Patchell combining to set Clayton Blommetjies on his way.

    Steff Evans

A brilliant interception from Scarlets captain Jonathan Davies deep in his own half and he's off and running up the right wing. Nick Grigg does well to hunt him down but Scarlets keep it alive - just - and Steff Evans is there to dive in at the opposite corner.

Rhys Patchell misses with a rushed conversion attempt.

  11. Yellow cardpublished at 18:53 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Glasgow Warriors 26-8 Scarlets

Tom Phillips is the man penalised for catching Tim Swinson on the head as the Glasgow lock was brought down by two of his Scarlets team-mates.

Is it that much different from the offence that resulted in red for Alex Allan?

"They're both yellows," is the opinion of Glasgow hooker Fraser Brown in the BBC commentary box.

Pick and go. Pick and go. Tight stuff from depleted Glasgow.

Suddenly the ball gets thrown out by scrum-half George Horne and a jinking Niko Matawalu beats one man but is caught by the next. A penalty for offside coming up...

    Brandon Thomson

A great response from Glasgow as they go through the phases, battering away at Scarlets. A no arms tackle upends hooker D'Arcy Rae and Brandon Thomson clips over a straightforward penalty.

  20. try

    Jonathan Davies

It's messy but it counts. Jonathan Davies rides a weak tackle from Ruaridh Jackson to get over in the corner.

Rhys Patchell, who was prominent in the move - for the first time this evening really - can't split the posts from out wide.
