  1. Red cardpublished at 19 mins

    Glasgow Warriors 3-3 Scarlets

Referee Frank Murphy angers the home crowd with a very harsh decision, ruling that challenge from Alex Allan serious foul play.

Scott Cummings made the tackle on Jake Ball and prop Allen then caught Jake Ball with his arm on his way down.

That changes the whole dynamic of the game with Warriors a man down.

There's no shortage of intensity to Glasgow's defence. Scarlets' attack is pretty simple, one-off passes, getting their big runners rumbling at the home defence. But Glasgow are fronting up and making their tackles and their discipline is really good - they're not giving away soft penalties.

    Glasgow Warriors 0-3 Scarlets

Good throw, good take but Glasgow get their attacking line all wrong and are pushed out of play near the corner. This time Scarlets have the line-out and they deal with it well, clearing their lines.

To compound the home side's misery, the next line-out is overthrown and all the pressure is off the visitors.

You think of Scarlets as being this high-tempo attacking team but their set-piece is really strong and that's where a lot of their success comes from.

Glasgow bungle that attack as a loose tap-pass from Adam Ashe concedes possession and Ruaridh Jackson has to scamper back deep into his own half to smother a long kick up the field.

Now Scarlets have a scrum put-in on the home 22.

Warriors will want to get the ball to Niko Matawalu as often as possible since the wee Fijian is on fire right now.

The winger has run in five tries in his last two outings - wins over Ospreys and Blues - celebrating his 100th club appearance in style last week with a brace.

Can he keep his scoring run going today?

    Glasgow Warriors v Scarlets (17:15)

Glasgow head coach Dave Rennie tells BBC Scotland that he has placed "massive emphasis" on next week's trip to Lyon but he's hoping to keep recent momentum going for the Conference A leaders.

"We've played really well in these past three games," he says. "It's been a test of our depth and we'll learn about some more young fellas today.

"Both sides are minus a few players, so we haven't really talked about that last encounter."

  19. Feel the burn...published at 17:03 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Glasgow Warriors v Scarlets (17;15)

Scarlets thoroughly enjoyed their last visit to Glasgow but they were less than impressed by the artificial pitch at Scotstoun, complaining of skin burns and blisters.

Full-back Johnny McNicholl went as far as saying the surface should be "illegal".

Earlier this week, the hosts tweeted a picture of their ground featuring an award from the Institute of Groundsmanship.

Scarlets head coach Wayne Pivac said he "would not mind a bit of water on it" and the New Zealander will be pleased to hear that it's been raining pretty much non-stop in the west of Scotland for weeks.

  20. Revenge mission for Glasgowpublished at 16:59 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Glasgow Warriors v Scarlets (17:15)

Welcome to what is a repeat of last season's semi-final. In May, Scarlets turned up at Scotstoun and absolutely battered Glasgow, easing to a 28-18 victory.

With so many top stars missing at this time of year and not so much on the line, we may not get the same level of intensity today.

However, Glasgow have not lost at home since that bruising day and will not want to surrender that record, while Scarlets will need to improve on a ropey away record this term to have a chance of upsetting the natives again.
