The lime green boots of Zoe Harrison dance through the Wales defence but the centre is tackled just short of the line.

Katy Daley-Mclean prods the ball through from the next phase and England power towards the line.

    Heather Fisher

Wales have come out fighting and are trying to take control but fatigue will hit them.

It will be a case of slotting the replacement players into the team and making sure nothing changes in your performance. But that can be hard to do.

  6. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Wales 5-29 England

Wales are slowly but surely making their way deeper and deeper into the England half.

The forwards flex their muscles at close quarters before the backs are released out wide, but England manage to turnover the ball.

Sarah Bern is up there with the best running props in world rugby.

The move breaks down as England lose the ball, but Wales have to do more to stop the powerful prop.

Some good early pressure for Wales as they go through the phases, but their attack is limited to going sideways in the face of the organised English defence.

Robyn Wilkins tries to offload out of the back door in the tackle but the ball spills forward and England have the scrum in their own half.

England will be frustrated. They need to reduce their errors and be more clinical. They can't afford to make forward passes or miss passes.

Sarah Bern has stood out, she has done the basics and her carries have been strong, but the squad needs to improve. There's no need for all these errors - the pressure is supposed to be off today.

Emily Scarratt, who is being rested for this game due to injury, has just left the stands on crutches.

Simon Middleton said earlier in the week that England are managing an injury that "flared up" during the game against France.

Hopefully it's not serious enough to keep the centre out of the game against Italy in two weeks.

Take the score out of it, and Wales are performing. They are holding their own and have really stepped up from last year. It's now about when to move the ball and create space.

Wales will feel on the top of the world. They will hope to keep England under 40 points and they are scoring points themselves.

That's a proud Welsh moment! Look how much it means for them. Wales will not give up. It's taken three years to score against England but it shows their practice is working.

It's a great score and it's great to see. It will give them confidence and really give them a boost in the second half.
