Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

    Quote Message

The Glasgow crowd have quietened down a little bit - Glasgow haven't given them much to shout about at the start of this second-half, and Leinster are being sensible.

    Glasgow 10-15 Leinster

Glasgow scrum now as Josh Van der Flier knocks on. It's all a bit scrappy and tight.

In the main, that should suit Leinster.

  3. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Glasgow 10-15 Leinster

Robbie Henshaw dinks a little kick in behind to put some pressure on Glasgow's defensive line-out. The Irish side weren't going anywhere in attack.

Warriors gather though and they need to come from their own 22 now.

    HT: Glasgow 10-15 Leinster

What does the second half have in store? Glasgow have been decent, but you'd be a brave man or woman to bet against Leinster at this stage.

  7. 'Momentum with Leinster'published at 19:36 British Summer Time 25 May 2019

    HT: Glasgow 10-15 Leinster

    Colin Gregor
Former Scotland Sevens captain on BBC Radio Scotland

    Quote Message

In games like this momentum is so important, and I think Leinster controlled the last 15 or 20 minutes of the half - Glasgow started better but Leinster have kicked more and got more control of territory

  8. 'Glasgow need patience'published at 19:34 British Summer Time 25 May 2019

    HT: Glasgow 10-15 Leinster

    Peter Wright
Former Scotland prop on BBC Radio Scotland

    Quote Message

They've just got to be a little bit more patient, try and force the penalty, keep the ball, the longer you keep possession the higher the chance you have of scoring through a penalty or try

  9. 'Cheap five points a sickener'published at 19:33 British Summer Time 25 May 2019

    HT: Glasgow 10-15 Leinster

    Ruaridh Jackson
    Glasgow and Scotland full-back

    Quote Message

They are defending well, but I think we'll be disappointed going in five points down, I think that cheap five points we gave away was a real sickener after a great start - hopefully we can come back out and change the momentum

  10. 'Leinster wrestle control'published at 19:30 British Summer Time 25 May 2019

    FT: Glasgow 10-15 Leinster

    Tom English
    BBC Scotland's chief sports writer

    Quote Message

Leinster have started to exert a little bit of muscle into this game. Glasgow are well in this. But we know how Leinster's defence can make it difficult the longer the game goes on.

  12. Half-time- Glasgow 10-15 Leinsterpublished at 19:24 British Summer Time 25 May 2019

Jordan Larmour bundles DTH Van der Merwe into touch and that's it for the first 40.

Glasgow have had much of the possession and territory, but Leinster are just doing what Leinster do.

  13. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Glasgow 10-15 Leinster

Better attack from Glasgow, they're deep inside the opposition 22 now. It's incremental progress though.

  14. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Glasgow 10-15 Leinster

Glasgow come again and they're past Leinster's 10m line. Kyle Steyn makes another few yards, the South African centre has been outstanding once again.

    Leinster's defence is imperious though.

  15. Key periodpublished at 19:21 British Summer Time 25 May 2019

    Glasgow 10-15 Leinster

    Andy Burke
BBC Scotland rugby reporter at Celtic Park

Ruaridh Jackson is the 24th man in the Glasgow Warriors squad today and he’s now sat next to me in the commentary gantry. If his furious leg-shaking is anything to go by, these are nervous moments for Glasgow supporters.

Leinster seem to be soaking up everything Warriors are throwing at them right now. The key either side of half-time is to stay in touch on the scoreboard and hope that strong looking bench can give Glasgow something different.

  16. 'Glasgow need to kick more'published at 19:19 British Summer Time 25 May 2019

    Glasgow 10-15 Leinster

    Ruaridh Jackson
    Glasgow and Scotland full-back

    Quote Message

I think we should be kicking more - I think there's obvious kicking space, Leinster's wingers are defending really high, and I think we are playing too much in the midfield, and conceding points in these situations

  17. Penalty- Glasgow 10-15 Leinsterpublished at 35 mins

    Johnny Sexton

No mistake this time from Leinster's captain. It bisects the posts.

    Glasgow 10-12 Leinster

Penalty to Leinster as Glasgow collapse the scrum. Johnny Sexton lines up the kick. He missed from pretty much the same position earlier in the match.

  19. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Glasgow 10-12 Leinster

The game is getting a bit scrappy as we move towards the break. Glasgow fly-half Adam Hastings dislodges the ball from opposite number Johnny Sexton but then Rob Harley knocks on.

    Leinster scrum on halfway.

  20. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Glasgow 10-12 Leinster

Glasgow have strung 14 phases together here but they're not really going anywhere. Leinster's defence fills the field so effectively and they're up sharp to snuff out Glasgow's runners in the outside channels.
